Abstract: An improved maintenance-friendly high-bay luminaire comprises: luminaire body (reflector) which houses a bulb from where illumination occurs; and luminaire head (control gear housing) including electrical ballast, said ballast being fixed on a gear tray, said luminaire head being a substantially cylindrical housing including a control gear top cover fitted atop a bottom cylindrical housing; characterised in that, there are provided a plurality of equi-angularly located, radially dispersed, toggles using wing-nuts about said luminaire head in order to latch said luminaire head over said luminaire body wherein said equi-angularly dispersed toggles using wing-nuts provide uniform latching and pressure onto said luminaire body and wherein said wing-nuts can be loosened for swiveling open said control gear top cover away from said bottom cylindrical housing of said luminaire head.

DETACHABLE TOOTHBRUSH BRISTLE END WITH DISINFECTANT HOLDING SYSTEMS
THIS INVENTION IS RELATED TO IMPROVEMENT IN BRUSH DISINFECTING SYSTEM BY INNOVATIVE DESIGNS FOR HOLDING DISINFECTANTS IN CONTACT WITH TOOTHBRUSH BRISTLES.
TOOTHBRUSH ACTS AS AN AGENT IN TRANSFERRING MICRO-ORGANISMS FROM ONE PERSON TO OTHER PERSON AND SELF. TOOTHBRUSH BRISTLE AREA MAY GET CONTAMINATED BY EXTERNAL ENVIRONMENTAL MICRO-ORGANISMS. HENCE, IT IS HIGHLY ESSENTIAL TO DISINFECT THE TOOTHBRUSH BRISTLE AREA PROPERLY. IN ORDER TO ACHIEVE THIS THE TOOTHBRUSH BRISTLES HAVE TO COME IN CONTACT PROPERLY WITH DISINFECTANT BEFORE AND AFTER BRUSHING THE TEETH. THIS NEEDS A PROPER DISINFECTANT HOLDING SYSTEM. THERE ARE TOOTHBRUSH BRUSH CAPS AVAILABLE IN THE MARKET BUT THEY ARE NOT SOLVING THE PURPOSE OF DISINFECTION OF TOOTHBRUSH BRISTLE AREA. THE OTHER METHODS WHICH INCLUDE USE OF ULTRASONIC WAVES AND CERTAIN RAYS/SANITIZER ARE TOO COSTLY TO BE USED IN INDIAN COMMUNITY. HENCE, THERE IS NEED TO HAVE A MORE EFFECTIVE AND CHEAP METHODS OF DISINFECTING TOOTHBRUSH. THE FOLLOWING DISINFECTANT HOLDING SYSTEMS MEET THE REQUIREMENT FOR THE SAME.
BASIC AIM OF THIS INVENTION IS TO REDUCE INFECTION TRANSMISSION RATE DUE TO TOOTHBRUSH BRISTLE AREA BY KEEPING THEM IN CONTACT WITH DISINFECTANT CONTINUOUSLY BEFORE AND AFTER USE.
IN THIS INVENTION THERE ARE TWO MEANS OF HOLDING DISINFECTANTS-IN FIRST DESIGN THERE IS CYLINDER-TRAPEZOID SYSTEM AND IN SECOND DESIGN THERE IS CONE SYSTEM, BOTH OF THESE SYSTEMS HELP TOOTHBRUSH BRISTLE AREA TO REMAIN IN LONG DURATION OF CONTACT WITH DISINFECTANT. THE TOOTHBRUSHES ARE MODIFIED SO THAT THEY CAN BE DETACHED AT THEIR NECK. THE HANDLE OF TOOTHBRUSH CAN BE REUSED AS SUCH AND ITS TOOTHBRUSH BRISTLE END CAN BE REPLACED. THESE SYSTEMS ARE VERY SIMPLE AND MANUAL THIS MODIFICATION AS DETACHABLE TOOTHBRUSH END MENTIONED ABOVE MAY BE APPLIED TO PRESENTLY IN USE TOOTHBRUSHES.

• Fig.l. DEPICTS THE CYL1NDER-TRAPEZ0ID SYSTEM. THE TRAPEZOID BOX [1] HAS AN ATTACHMENT WITH THE CYLINDER [2] IN SUCH A WAY THAT THERE IS CONTINUATION BETWEEN THE TRAPEZOID WALLS AND CYLINDRICAL WALLS. THIS HELPS IN CREATING A SEAL AT THE LINE OF ATTACHMENT OF THE TRAPEZOID WITH THE CYLINDER.
• THE CYLINDER CONSIST OF WHEEL [3] WITH 8 SLOTS AND A KNOB [4]TO ROTATE IT. THE ANGLE BETWEEN THE 2 OPPOSING WALLS OF EACH SLOT IS EQUAL TO WIDTH OF THE BASE OF THE TRAPEZOID.
• THE KNOB IS LOCATED AT THE TOP OF THE LONG AXIS OF THE CYLINDER . EACH WALL IN THE SLOT IS AT AN EQUAL DISTANCE FROM THE LONG AXIS. THE WHOLE WHEEL IS RUBBER COATED IN ORDER TO HAVE PROPER SEAL FOR EACH SLOT. THESE SLOTS WILL BE USED TO STORE DISINFECTANT FLUID.
• WHEN THE KNOB IS ROTATED BY AN ANGLE EQUAL TO THAT BETWEEN 2 OPPOSING WALLS OF THE SLOT DISINFECTANT FLUID ONLY FROM ONE SINGLE SLOT GETS DRAINED INTO THE TRAPEZOID BOX.
• EACH SLOT HAS A CHANNEL [5] AT ITS TOP. NEW REFILL PACK OF DISINFECTANT

• THE TOOTHBRUSH HAS BEEN IMPROVED AT ITS NECK [6] BY DETACHING IT FROM THE HANDLE[7]. THE BRISTLE PART OF TOOTHBRUSH [81 SIMPLY SLIDES INTO THE HANDLE [9] AND CAN BE EASILY LOCKED AND UNLOCKED BY SLIDING METHOD AS PER Fig.4.
• Fig.2. DEPICTS THE SHAPE OF TRAPEZOID BOX WHICH GIVES STABILITY TO THE BOX. IT ALSO GIVES MORE ROOM AT THE BASE [10] WHICH HELPS IN ACCOMODATING TOOTHBRUSH BRISTLES EASILY.

AS AIR IS POOR CONDUCTOR OF HEAT IT PREVENTS ANY HEAT TO GET TRANSMITTED FROM INSIDE OF THE CAP TO OUTER ENVIRONMENT. IN THIS WAY TEMPERATURE OF DISINFECTANT IS MAINTAINED.
• THE CONE SHAPED CAP HAS ATOP COVER [13] WHICH HAS AIRTIGHT SEAL AND SNUG FIT. THIS HELPS TO LOSE ANY DISINFECTANT FROM THE TOP. THIS COVER HAS A HOLE WHICH HAS THE SHAPE AND SIZE EQUAL TO THAT AT THE LEVEL OF OUTER CIRCUMFERENCE OF CONE SHAPED CAP. THIS HELPS IN RETRACTING THE COVER SLIGHTLY BEHIND WHICH HELPS IN RELEASE OF THE CONE CAP WITHOUT COMPLETELY REMOVING COVER OUTSIDE THE TOOTHBRUSH. THIS HOLE IN THE COVER IS RUBBER COATED.
• THE HANDLE OF THE TOOTHBRUSH HAS A HOLE AT ITS END AWAY FROM THE CAP[14].THiS HOLE IS USED TO HAVE A STRING[15] WHICH ALWAYS KEEPS THE TOOTHBRUSH IN VERTICAL POSITION. THIS POSITION HELPS IN SEDIMENTATION OF WASTE PARTICLES AT THE APEX OF THE CONE WHICH CAN BE EASILY SEPARATED LATER.
• Fig.3b. DEPICTS PLACEMENT OF THE CONE ON THE HANDLE OF THE TOOTHBRUSH. THE SHAPE AND SIZE OF HANDLE ON THE SIDE WHERE CONE IS PLACED IS SO AS TO HAVE SNUG FIT WITH THE CONE SHAPED CAP. THIS HELPS TO PREVENT THE CAP FROM COMING IN CONTACT WITH OTHER ENVIRONMENTAL FACTORS.

1. THE TOOTHBRUSH DISINFECTANT HOLDING SYSTEMS CONSIST OF A TRAPEZOID-CYLINDER MODEL AND A CONE SHAPED CAP MODEL.
2. THE TRAPEZOID-CYLINDER MODEL CONSIST OF KNOB WITH RUBBER COATED WHEEL, AIRTIGHT SEAL AND SNUG FIT TOP COVER.
3. THERE ARE 8 SLOTS IN THE WHEEL IN WHICH THE ANGLE BETWEEN 2 OPPOSITE WALLS OF SLOT IS EQUAL TO WIDTH OF THE BASE OF TRAPEZOID BOX.
4. EACH SLOT HAS AN OPENING CHANNEL AT ITS TOP FOR DELIVERING FRESH DISINFECTANT.
5. THE TRAPEZOID BOX AND THE CYLINDER ARE ATTACHED IN COMPLETE CONTINUITY.
6. THE TOOTHBRUSH CAN BE DETACHED AT ITS NECK BY SLIDING METHOD.
7. THE CONE SHAPED CAP HAS 2 LAYERS WITH AIR IN BETWEEN THEM AND ITS SHAPE AND SIZE GOVERNS THE SHAPE AND SIZE OF HANDLE OF TOOTHBRUSH WITHOUT DAMAGING IT.
8. THE CONE SHAPED CAP HAS LID, WHICH IS RUBBER COATED FROM INSIDE WHERE IT HAS A HOLE .
9. THE LID OF CONE SHAPED CAP DOES NOT COME OUT OF THE TOOTHBRUSH AND ITS HOLE ON INSIDE IS EQUAL TO SIZE AND SHAPE OF NECK OF TOOTHBRUSH AT THE LEVEL OF OUTER CIRCUMFERENCE OF CONE CAP TO COVER UP COMPLETELY TO PROTECT FROM EXTERNAL ENVIRONMENT.
