The present invention discloses an improved radial fan adaptable toutilities and process industries, the fan being drivable by an electric motor,the fan comprising an impeller having a back and/or a center plate (01),the plate (1) being provided with at least one blade (02); a spiral casing(03) internally accommodating the impeller and acting as a diffuser torecover the kinetic energy of the fluid leaVingthe impeller; and an inclinedinlet guide valve acting as a fluid flow regUlating means to minimizepressure drop; The at least one blade (02) constitutes a moderate widthbackward aerofoil blade having a profile including selectively configurableexit angles enabling a smooth ingress and egress of fluid flow.
