Specification

FIELD OF INVENTION
This invention relates to an improved rear axle housing of tractor. This
improvement reduces stress on rear axle housing, provides safety in transport
and increases transport productivity during haulage operation of tractor with
2-wheel trolley.
BACKGROUND/PRIOR ART OF THE INVENTION
In the haulage operation of tractor, most of the farmers use 2-wheel trolley. In
case of 2-wheel trolley, when trolley is loaded with specified pay load as
recommended by the manufacturer, 20 to 30% load is transferred to the rear
axle housing. This increases the rear Wheel Reaction 8B reduces the wheel slip.
However, most of the users over load the trolley to drive the tractor on county
road. That causes accident or breakage of rear axle housing due to the more
load transfer than recommended during haulage operation. Hence, it is
required to have a provision which will reduce the stress level in rear axle
housing and increase the safety during over load and transportation on road.
OBJECTS OF THE INVENTION
The primary object of the present invention is to provide an improved rear axle
housing of tractor which reduces stress on rear axle housing of tractor.

Another object of the present invention is to provide an improved rear axle
housing of tractor which provides safe transport and increases the transport
productivity during haulage operation of tractor.
Further object of the present invention is to provide an improved rear axle
housing of tractor which is efficient.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
This invention provides an improved rear axle housing of tractor comprising a
pre tension bar on rear axle housing of tractor wherein said pre tension bar is
detachable.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE ACCOMPANYING DRAWINGS
Further objects and advantages of this invention will be more apparent from
the ensuing description when read in conjunction with the accompanying
drawings and wherein:
Fig. 1 shows: Rear axle housing with pretension bar just before over
loading the trolley.
Fig. 2 shows: Rear axle housing with pretension bar after over loading the
trolley.
Fig. 3 shows: Stress on rear axle housing attached with pretension bar.
Fig. 4 shows: Pretension bar of channel section according to present
invention.

DETAIL DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION WITH REFERENCE TO THE
ACCOMPANYING DRAWINGS;-
This invention discloses an improved rear axle housing of tractor comprising a
pre tension bar on rear axle housing of tractor wherein said pre tension bar is
detachable.
The pre tension bar is preferably having channel section, vv^hich is provided in
such a way that, it can be removed during farming operation and can also be
retrofitted during haulage operation.
During the haulage operation before loading the trolley, firstly pre tension bar
of channel section as shown in fig. 4 is attached to rear axle to create a Pre
tensional load on Rear axle housing such that upper half of rear axle housing
is subjected to tensile force 85 lower half is in compression as shown in fig. 1
(Rear axle housing is loaded in opposite direction of haulage application load).
After loading or over loading the 2-Wheel trolley when load is transferred to
rear axle housing, it overcomes the load applied through Pre tension bar
followed by creation of compressive load on the upper half of rear axle &, tensile
load on lower half of rear axle housing as shown in the fig. 2. This reduces the
stress on rear axle housing shown in fig. 3 during actual application.
Thus, this system increases the safety during transportation and reduces the
stress on rear axle housing, which increases the transport productivity during
the haulage operation.

The Pre tension bar can have any section preferably channel section without
restricting scope of the invention to the same. However, other sections readily
apparent to person skilled in the art are understood to be within scope of the
invention.
Said bar can be manufactured by forging, casting without restricting scope of
the invention to the same.
Advantageous features
- Reduction in the stress of around 20% on rear axle housing.
- Increase in the safety during transportation.
- Increase in the transport productivity.
- Cost effective.
It is to be noted that the present invention is susceptible to modifications,
adaptations and changes by those skilled in the art. Such variant
embodiments employing the concepts and features of this invention are
intended to be within the scope of the present invention, which is further set
forth under the following claims:-

WE CLAIM:
1. An improved rear axle housing of tractor comprising a pre tension bar on
rear axle housing of tractor wherein said pre tension bar is detachable.
2. An improved rear axle housing of tractor as claimed in claim 1, wherein
the pre tension bar is preferably having channel section, which is
provided in such a way that, it can be removed during farming operation
and can also be retrofitted during haulage operation.
3. An improved rear axle housing of tractor as claimed in claim 1 or 2,
wherein during the haulage operation before loading the trolley, firstly
pre tension bar of channel section is attached to rear axle to create a Pre
tensional load on Rear axle housing such that upper half of rear axle
housing is subjected to tensile force & lower half is in compression.
4. An improved rear axle housing of tractor as claimed in any of the
preceding claims, wherein after loading or over loading the 2-Wheel
trolley when load is transferred to rear axle housing, it overcomes the
load applied through Pre tension bar followed by creation of compressive
load on the upper half of rear axle 86 tensile load on lower half of rear
axle housing which reduces the stress on rear axle housing during actual
application.
5. An improved rear axle housing of tractor as claimed in any of the
preceding claims is associated with the advantageous features such as
herein described.

described with reference to the accompanying drawings.
