Abstract: The invention relates to An improved tubing hanger with a single bore, two ports for electric submersible pumps and four control lines to control down hole operations of oil-well, comprising : ports for two nos of Electric Submersible Pump cable (2) specific to make of the cable; at least four control line exits (4) of size ranging upto ½ inch, in addition to said cable port (2); a plurality of pockets (6) for easy installation and retrieval of the control line exits on the top surface of the hanger, wherein the hanger body (1) having a provision for threading so as to allow suspending the tubing and lifting the tubing during drilling and exploration operation,wherein a back pressure valve is disposed enabling quick and easy repair of the X mas tree.
FILED OF THE INVENTION
The present invention generally relates to oil field equipment for example, tubing
hanger with a hanger body having a threaded box at top, and a bottom for
suspending and lifting the tubing, at least two control lines one each for an
electric submersible pump. More particularly, the present invention relates to an
improved tubing hanger with a single bore, two ports for electric submersible
pumps and four control lines to control down hole operations of oil-well.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
Tubing hangers are mainly used for suspending the tubing and with multiple
ports for down hole operations and control lines along with bore for accessing
back pressure valve. Tubing hangers are of different types namely extended
neck type of hanger, short neck hangers and suspending type tubing hanger
with various sealing methods like packing energization by gland or "S" seals for
sealing or "0" rings for sealing.
At present, all Tubing hangers are provided with a tubing bore along with
maximum of two or three ports for control line exits, and a bore for inserting the
cable for an Electric Submersible Pump (ESP). These ports and bore are used for
handling the tubing and for exiting the control line. The disadvantage of this
tubing hanger is that the hanger requires more than one ESP hanger and more
than four control lines to be operated for downhole operations.
OBJECT OF THE INVENTION
It is therefore an object of the invention to propose an improved tubing hanger
with a single bore, two ports for electric submersible pumps and four control
lines to control down hole operations of oil-well which results in less time
consumption in exploration of wells for oil.
Another object of the invention is to propose an improved tubing hanger with a
single bore, two ports for electric submersible pumps and four control lines to
control down hole operations of oil-well, which incorporates pockets in the
hanger body for easy accessibility for exiting the control line exits and ESP
cables.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
Accordingly, there is provided a Tubing hanger comprising at least one tubing
handling bore, at least two ports for handling (ESP) Electric Susmersible Pump,
and exits for four safety valve control line for the sub surface safety valve,
injection of water, injection of chemicals and ingress of the electric cable.
Special metallic pockets are machined on top and bottom of the tubing hanger
for easy accesibility for handling the control lines and ESP cables. The tubing
hanger is energized by tightening an anchor screw in a spool which inturn
compress the packing with the aid of gland.
Thus, the inventive tubing hanger comprises at least four control line exits, at
least two Electric Submersible Pump (ESP) cable. The advantage of the invention
is that a maxmium of four control line operations namely chemical injection, feed
cable insertion, electric cable for sub surface operations, and water injections,
including operation of two electric submersible pump cables reduce the rig time
in testing and exploration of the oil well.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
Figure - 1 illustrates the subject Invention of Tubing Hanger with provision for
two nos of Electric Submersible Pump and four control line exits.
As shown in figure 1, the tubing hanger (1) comprises ports for two nos of
Electric Submersible Pump cable (2) specific to make of the cable; at least four
control line exits (4) of size ranging upto ½ inch, in addition to said cable port
(2); a plurality of pockets (6) for easy installation and retrieval of the control line
exits on the top surface of the hanger, wherein the hanger body (1) having a
provision for threading so as to allow suspending the tubing and lifting the
tubing during drilling and exploration operation, wherein a back pressure valve is
disposed enabling quick and easy repair of the X mas tree. The equipment
reduces the time consumption during exploration of well since cable ports are
adequate enough for accessing the bottom of the well.
WE CLAIM :
1. An improved tubing hanger with a single bore, two ports for electric
submersible pumps and four control lines to control down hole operations
of oil-well, comprising :
ports for two nos of Electric Submersible Pump cable (2) specific to make
of the cable; at least four control line exits (4) of size ranging upto ½ inch,
in addition to said cable port (2);
a plurality of pockets (6) for easy installation and retrieval of the control
line exits on the top surface of the hanger, wherein the hanger body (1)
having a provision for threading so as to allow suspending the tubing and
lifting the tubing during drilling and exploration operation, wherein a back
pressure valve is disposed enabling quick and easy repair of the X mas
tree.
