FIELD OF INVENTION
This invention relates to an improved vibratory compactor.
PRIOR ART
A vibratory compactor existing in the art is having metallic hood for
engine, which is quiet heavy requiring considerable manual effort for its
opening.
OBJECTS OF THE INVENTION
The primary object of the present invention is to propose an improved
vibratory compactor which overcomes disadvantage(s) of the prior art.
Another object of the present invention is to propose an improved
vibratory compactor which is efficient.
STATEMENT OF INVENTION
According to this invention there is provided an improved vibratory
compactor comprising of hood for engine made of fiber glass.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION WITH REFERENCE TO
THE ACCOMPANYING DRAWINGS
This invention provides an improved vibratory compactor comprising a
hood for engine made of fiber glass.
Fiber glass is light in weight. Therefore, it reduces weight of the hood
considerably as compared to the known art. The hood with the provisions
of gas struts facilitates opening of the same effortlessly.
Referring to fig. 1 and 2, hood (item 1) is pivoted onto chassis through
gas struts (item 9) which is a pressurized gas cylinder. This facilitates the
bonnet to open the moment it is released from the lock latch.
It is to be noted that the present invention is susceptible to
modifications, adaptations and changes by those skilled in the art. Such
variant embodiments employing the concepts and features of this
invention are intended to be within the scope of the present invention,
which is further set forth under the following claims:-
WE CLAIM:
1. An improved vibratory compactor comprising of hood for engine
made of fiber glass.
2. An improved vibratory compactor as claimed in claim 1 wherein
the hood is pivoted onto chassis through gas struts, which is a
pressurized gas cylinder.
3. An improved vibratory compactor substantially as herein
described with reference to the accompanying drawings.
