An Information Processing Apparatus

Abstract: An information processor functions to check out content to a portable device (6) such as a portable disk player. The information processor is controlled by a content management program (111) to store content in a content database (114), and controlled by a display support program (112) to determine whether to check out the stored content to a portable device (6). When content is stored if a content checkout is programmed, the content stored in the database (114) is checked out to the portable device (6).
