FIELD OF THE INVENTION:
This invention relates to the field of Mechanical Engineering.
This invention deals with providing convenience to the people working in the offices or even in the government sector, whereas also in the banks or places where documents are needed to punch and stapled together. This invention deals with providing convenience to the people working in the offices and as well as can be used for various general purposes. In general, by the help of this mechanism stated in this invention the user gets to use various combinations of the mechanism by only adjusting the screw type lockwhich is attached to the punching unit whereas to the side of the stapler. Here the stapler is free to move sideways horizontally i.e. the base of the stapler is free to move, whereas the base of the stapler is attached to lower expandable or adjustable base. Nowadays, we use stapler and punching machine both . separately to staple and punch the bunch of documents respectively. But with the help of this mechanism not only you can use the staple and punching unit in the same machine but also you can adjust the length or the distance between the punching holes and the stapling position with the help of the movable base which is provided with this unit. Also, another interesting feature of this invention is that many a times we have to choose the stapler according to the requirement and fulfilment of our purpose i.e. in simple words there are different types of staplers available in the market according to the size of the stapler pins example big medium small sized pins. So, we may need to carry different staplers for different purposes if needed which can prove to be very annoying or can simply prove to a space eater. So, this invention particularly houses a stapler, of which,we can adjust the pin compartment according to the size of the pin we have to use.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION:
1. The present invention helps the individual to staple and punch the bunch of the documents altogether at the same time.
2. Also, there is an inbuilt expandable base to adjust the width or the distance between the point of stapling and point of punching according the width of the paper/document/s.
3. There is a locking and unlocking cylindrical key mechanism provided so that we can either staple or punch or perform both the actions at the same time.
4. Another feature is, the stapler houses an adjustable internal base so that all types of pins can fit inside it according to our need and purpose.
PROBLEMS IN PRESENT ARRANGEMENT (CONVENTIONAL SYSTEM):
• In daily usage, we use stapler and punching unit separately. So, for office purpose or anywhere where there is any need for arranging any sort of documents we have to carry both stapler and punching unit all together. A problem may always arise when we forget anyone of it.
• Also, a problem of buying different kinds of staplers of different sizes can be eliminated with the help of this invention.
• There is also much use of the stapler and punching units in the colleges for students and for the teaching or office staffs. So, this invention in short fulfills all the requirements of the users.
MECHANISM FOR SOLVING THE PROBLEM:
This invention mainly solves all the above-mentioned problems. This invention mainly consists of unit which help to staple and punch the documents the whole at the same time or even performing the task individually i.e. for only stapling purpose or only punching purpose. Also, this unit consists of the locking and unlocking mechanism while helps to perform above mentioned tasks. There is also an expandable base provided in the invention mechanism to extend or to adjust the length or the distance between the position of stapling and position of punching, mainly this feature plays an important role when there are papers of different size or widths. Also provided is adjustable compartment in the housing of the stapler of the invention to adjust or to use different kinds or sizes of stapler pins according to the user's requirement or according to the size of the document/s. OBJECTS OF THE INVENTION:
1) Tostaple and punch the bunch of documents the whole at once or even perform the same individually.
2) Also,the is an inbuilt feature or function provided with the unit that there is an expandable base which we can adjust according to the width of the papers in order to staple and punch the documents the whole at the same time.
3) To provide convenience and comfort to the user while performing the task.
SUMMARY OF INVENTION:
Nowadays, especially in the colleges and offices many documents and paper works is carried out. Thus, there is always a need to carry or to need to have both the stapler and punching machine at the same time. There always arises a merely moment when we have the punching machine and no stapler or vice versa. So, at that time it always gets irritating. Also, there is much waste of the time when especially we are in hurry. So, this invention mainly focuses to save the time of the user and specially to provide the
comfort to the user. This invented mechanism of the staple punching machine works very efficiently and perfectly in all the sense. This invented mechanism consists of both stapler and punching units embedded together in one unit connected by a single cylindrical key attached to punching unit and passes over the upper bae of the stapler unit such that when key is locked both the machines gets activated whereas when the key is unlocked, both the mechanism can work independently. The working is mentioned in brief further in this patent report.
Another Nice feature of this invention is that the base of the whole unit can be expanded rather it is expandable horizontally to adjust the distance between the staple and the punching holes, and it can be well adjusted to the length or width of the documents, whereas it can be expanded well enough to best fit any size of documents. A one of a kind important feature of this invention is that the base of the stapler is adjustable i.e. spring return or spring retraction to the smallest pin size and it can be adjusted such that any kind and size of pin can be used in one stapler unit.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE ACCOMPANYING DRAWINGS:

• Figure 1 illustrates the whole diagram of the unit which consists of the punching machine and the expandable base and the stapler is mounted on that base which can be easily extracted and retracted according to the width of the paper.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE ACCOMPANYING DRAWINGS:

punching and stapling. The end part of the key is attached to that part and it performs the
same motion as that of the punching machine.

This svstem works as follows-
As shown in the figure, for punching Unit and stapler unit, they perform their tasks according to the regular conventional punching and stapler units available in the market today. Considering the whole point of this current invention, the special function of this invented mechanism is that rather than stapling and punching the whole bunch of the documents separately we can do both the jobs of stapling and punching conveniently at the same time.
. Now as we punch the document the key also moves along with it and as this key is attached to the elongated part of the base that part also performs same movement as that of the punching machine.
Now. if we see the unit from the front side then, when we slide the key vertically towards the right, the start side of the key gets fitted in the upper part of the punching machine. Similarly, at the same time key gets locked and tight fitted. And then, when we perform the punching action the key also moves along with the punch downwards, now since the key is tight fitted and locked the end part of the key gets trapped over the upper base of the stapler and thus along with the movement of the punch action the stapler machine also performs its operation. Hence because of this both the punching and stapler unit works or functions together and thus because of this the documents gets punched and stapled at the same time. Now, at the same time when we have to perform the tasks individually then we have to slide the same key towards the left hand side, because of which the key loosen up and gets unlocked form the punch unit and because of this when we perform the punching operation the key rather moves with the movement of the punch top since it is fitted through the upper part of the punch but since it is loosed the end part of the key do not get trapped on the upper base of the stapler unit and because of which the punch unit alone performs the operations
' and not the stapler and operation and performance of both the individual units is independent. Thus with the help of same condition we can do the stapling operation easily. Now, in order to refill the stapler pins in the stapler unit we can easily do it like refilling the stapler pins in the conventional stapler machine, and this can be done only when the key is loosened up otherwise we will not be able to open the upper part of the stapler to refill the stapler pins. Another feature of this mechanism is that the base of this mechanism can be expanded horizontally to adjust to the length or width or the documents or the papers. The base is such that it mainly slides below the punching unit whereas the base is fixed attached to the stapler
unit. And the end part of the base is attached to the vertically attached mechanism whose movement is such as same as that of the movement of the punch unit. It is because the key which is provided in this mechanism is such that it is attached to the punch unit as well as that vertically upward end part of the base.
Now, as the base gets elongated horizontally the key which is in the cylindrical form along gets elongated with it. Now as shown in FIGURE 6 the key is of the cylindrical format such that one part which is away from the punching unit is inserted inside the bigger cylinder which is attached to the punching unit. It works same as that of the cylinder i.e. when the base gets expanded the Cylindrical key also gets expanded with it.
As described earlier as the name with E in the detailed description it represents the retractable manually movable or spring return type adjustable base so that any size of pin can be fit in the housing of the stapler for any sort of purpose according to the requirement of the user. If manual retractable base is used the user has to simply move the base size sideways whose motion will be perpendicular to direction of the moving base and fit the pins and tighten up the base to press fit the pins in it and then further carry out the operation. Whereas, further is we use the spring return type base the user has to simply drag the base with the notch provided towards sideways and fit in the pins of any size he/she wants and release the notch or lever in order to press fit the pins tightly and then carry out the further operation. The overall mechanism is pretty simply and can be of great use in future in terms of storage in terms of size in terms of efficiency in terms of usability and in terms of cost of whole unit rather than buying different staplers and punching units.
Hence overall making the working of the mechanism more efficient and easy to use in all the aspects. Thus, this explains the whole working of the current invention.
THE NOVEL FEATURES INCLUDES:
1) The stapler punching unit for carrying out the stapling and the punching operation at the same time or even carrying out each operation separately and hence saving much time.
2) The expandable base sliding over the base of the punching unit and attached to the base of the stapler unit which is horizontally moveable and that can be adjusting according to the length or width of the papers or the documents.
3) A vertically extended part or an extension fixed or attached to the sliding moveable base. Its motion is same as that of the motion of the punching unit while punching while pressure is applied.
4) A cylindrical key which is expandable horizontally along with the moveable base, it's purpose is to mainly serve the locking and unlocking in this inverted mechanism such that when unlocked only stapler or only punching unit works and while it is locked both the stapler and the punching unit works at the same time hence saving time and also works precisely and accurately.
5) The base can be adjusted to well fit the length of the paper and not only to fit the paper or documents but also to align the bunch of documents properly.
6) Base of stapler in the unit can be adjusted to best fit any kind or size of the staple pins according to the requirement of the user, it can be manually adjusted or self-retracted by spring mechanism.
CLAIMS:
I claim,
1) The invented mechanism fulfils all the requirements of the user such as punching, stapling, both stapling and punching at the same time.
2) User get to use the stapler with different sizes of pins as per his/her requirements.
3) The base of the punch that can be expanded according the length of the document/paper or whichever position the user wants.
4) The size of stapler should be big enough in order to occupy the largest pin size available and enough sturdy to resist the force applied.
