PREAMBLE TO THE DESCRIPTION The following specification describes the invention.

FIELD OF INVENTION
This invention generally relates to the bracket and more particularly to an integrated bracket which combines the mounting arrangements of Tow hook, front under run protection device (FUPD), Bumper & front Cab mounting and fits on frame.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
As per the fore coming vehicle regulation requirements it is necessary to meet all the requirements of crash worthiness, safety and to make provisions for the Front under run protective devices at the front end of the vehicle. Generally separate brackets are required to mount the FUPD (Front Under Run Protective Device), Tow hook, Cab mounting bracket and Bumper on the front end of the long member or frame.
To mount all the said separate brackets it requires more mounting space at the front end of the said long member. While mounting said separate brackets to mount said FUPD, cab mounting bracket, tow hook and bumper at the front end of the vehicle more weight will be added to the bare weight of the vehicle which matters in the pay load of the vehicle. As all the said brackets are mounted separately more number of fasteners required hence the assembly and dismantling time also more.
This invention enables all the above mentioned mounting arrangements in a very small mounting area on frame and minimum packaging space requirement which also meets the regulatory requirements. The proposed bracket has less weight when compared to addition of the weights of all the said separate brackets. Since said invention is a single bracket construction requires less number of fasteners and the assembly and dismantle time also gets reduced

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION:
This invention enables all the above mentioned mounting arrangements in a very small mounting area on frame and minimum packaging space requirement which also meets the regulatory requirements. The proposed bracket has less weight when compared to addition of the weights of all the said separate brackets. Since said invention is a single bracket construction requires less number of fasteners and the assembly and dismantle time also gets reduced.
The objective of the present invention is to combine the mounting arrangements of FUPD, bumper, cab mounting & tow hook to the long member of a vehicle.
Another objective of the present invention is to provide minimum packing space on the long member and reduce weight of mounting bracket.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS
Figure 1-A shows front isometric view of the bracket
Figure 1 - B shows the rear isometric view of the bracket
Figures 2a - 2c shows the side, front and top view of the bracket
Figure 3 shows the exploded view of the bracket & assembled components
Figure 4 shows the bracket with assembled components.
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
Referring now to the drawings wherein the showings are for the purpose of illustrating a preferred embodiment of the invention only, and not for the purpose of limiting the same,
In accordance with the present invention; integrated bracket for vehicle front end (1) comprises vertical web(2), a top flange(3), a bottom flange (4) oriented opposite to said top flange(3), a first intermediate flange (5) and a second intermediate flange (6) parallel to said bottom flange (4) where as the said intermediate flanges also acts as

the rib support for the bracket, a front faced vertical web (7) connecting said intermediate flanges first(5) and second(6) and said bottom flange(4), a rib (8) for supporting the top flange (3) connected to the vertical web (2), a projection (9) configured for bumper mountings oriented on the side of said front facing vertical web (7).
A pocket (10) is provided on top of said vertical web(2) providing clearance to bolt head which is meant for connecting first cross member (11) with the frame or long member(12). A cut (13) is provided on said second intermediate flange (6) in the centre having profile offset to the sides.
Top face of the first intermediate flange (14) and right side face (15) of the vertical web (2) above the intermediate flanges (15) are provided with plurality of machined boss surface (16) to mount said bracket (1) to long member (12) of the vehicle. Holes are provided on the machined boss surfaces (16) to connect said bracket (1) with long member(12) by using fasteners.
A machined surface (17) is provided on the top surface of said top flange (3) for mounting the CAB mounting bracket (18),. A plurality of hole is provided on said machined surface (17) to connect said CAB mounting bracket (18) with said bracket (1) by using fasteners.
On the bottom of vertical web (2), the side opposite to the side having intermediate flanges provided with a plurality of machined boss surface (20) to mount the FUPD bracket (21) on said bracket(l). Holes are provided on the machined boss surfaces (20) to connect the FUPD (21) with said bracket (1) by using fasteners.
For connecting the tow hook (22) to said bracket(l) a slot (23) which is configured for inserting the projection of the tow hook (24) is provided on said front faced vertical web (7). After inserting the projection of the tow hook (24) into the slot (23) said tow hook (22) is turned to 90degree to lock the projection of tow hook (24) with the slot. On the front face of the front faced vertical web (27) a groove (28) is provided above the slot (23) for clamping the tow hook.

Said bracket (1) shares area in a close vicinity which enables minimum packaging space on long member(12). With in the same mounting area said bracket (1) serves different functions say the pull load by the tow hook, FUPD loads, etc., Said bracket-front end (1) also meets the requirements as per AIS-069 (FUPD standards) such as crash worthiness, safety, FUPD provisions etc., since the said bracket-front end (1) is a single body construction it requires less number of fasteners which effects in the assembly and servicing time.
The foregoing description is a specific embodiment of the present invention. It should be appreciated that this embodiment is described for purpose of illustration only, and that numerous alterations and modifications may be practiced by those skilled in the art without departing from the spirit and scope of the invention. It is intended that all such modifications and alterations be included insofar as they come within the scope of the invention as claimed or the equivalents thereof.
