4. Description

Technical field

[001] The present invention relates to a hierarchical based online management for creating, processing, archiving and managing educational data and corresponding reports. More particularly the present invention relates to a system for enabling students, teachers, parents, staff and administrators to access, share, create, input, manage, store and/or deliver educational content on a user interface over a data communication device.

Background

[002] Educating students is an extremely important part of every society. As the use of personal computers became progressively mainstream, many companies thought that technology advancements would change the educational sector. Though, the technology advancements have little impact on the educational sector as a whole. This is not indicating that the companies have failed to invest their resources to develop computer or internet based educational tools.

[003] In fact, many companies have made investments on developing advanced educational toots to solve specific problems faced by the educators. Some companies developed content management tools, which allow teachers to create their own websites and some other companies have developed record management tools that provide school administrators easy access to student records.
[004] However, the development of specialized educational tools by multiple independent companies has resulted in a lack of interoperability among the educational tools. Non-interoperability impedes the sharing of data. Consequently, the schools have adopted with such proprietary educational tools spend a great deal of their time and resources on data conversion and data synchronization among the educational tools.

[005] For example, a teacher may opt to post student's grades on a class website that the teacher created using a content management tool. Yet, to report the same grades to the school administration the teacher must copy the posted grade information and convert it into a format used by the school's proprietary record management tool. This lack of interoperability has proved many of these tools to be without any long-term merit or real value to schools, their administrators, teachers, parents, staff or students.

[006] As another example, a parent may want to print a copy of their child's upcoming assignments. Assuming that each teacher has a website on which he or she posts information about upcoming assignments, the parent must first remember the name or website of each teacher and then separately locate and navigate through each teacher's website. The parent spends more time to find the teacher's website. Even more time is spent for navigating through each website because the design and content of the websites vary from teacher to teacher. Assuming that the parent is actually able to find the information, he or she must then copy or print the information separately from each website. This lack of usability has led many parents and students to abandon the Internet as a communication channel with the teachers and school administrators. As a result, teachers have less incentive to develop and maintain their websites.

[007] However, these standards fail to provide a method for implementing a user friendly educational system.

[008] In the light of the aforementioned discussion there exists a system and method for enabling
interoperability between the educational tools to access, share, create, input, manage, store and/or deliver educational content by administrators, teachers, staff, parents and students.

The live streaming is further saved in a designated central database for future reference. The step of selecting the live streaming corresponding to a specific class by the student or the choice of viewing the live streaming by the respective authorized person is completely based on the hierarchical management. At step 1006 the respective authorized person and the student are enabled to view the live streaming of the corresponding lecture on the user interface by entering the credentials.

1. An integrated system for hierarchical based online management of educational institution data and generation of reports corresponding to each division within the educational institution, the system comprising:

a human resource management module for enabling the respective authorized person to perform recruiting of staff, train the staff and manage pay rolls, leave management for students, teaching staff and non-teaching staff;

a finance module for enabling the respective authorized persons to handle finance related operations of the educational institution, whereby the respective authorized person inserts all the finance related data into a designated integrated software;
a search module for enabling the respective authorized person, the one or more student, one more staff to search for a prerequisite data associated with the educational institution.

2. The system of claim 1 configured to operate as a web based application and a mobile based application.

3. The system of claim 1, wherein a secured payment gateway enables the parent or a corresponding guardian to pay the fee of the corresponding student over a data communication device.

4. The system of claim 1, wherein the secured payment gateway further enables authorized money transfer among the associated branches of the educational institution.

5. The system of claim 1, wherein the respective authorized person are enabled to send messages and mails to the corresponding student, teaching staff, non-teaching staffs preferred communication number.

6. The system of claim I, wherein the transportation means integrated with a global positioning system for tracking the present location.

7. The systems of claim 1, wherein the parent/guardian, teaching staff and non-teaching staff are enabled to browse, select and pay for the preferred hostel from the list of predetermined hostels for the students to stay.

8. The system of claim 1, wherein the profiles of the one or more students and the one or more respective authorized person can be viewed by any authorized person on entering the corresponding credentials.

9. The system of claim 1, wherein the classroom enabled with integrated cameras configured to display live streaming of the corresponding lectures and enabling the corresponding students to attend the online classroom.

10. The system of claim 1, wherein a server enabled to view, edit and save the complete profile of the one or more student and the one or more respective authorized person over a user interface.

The system of claim 1 further configured with a centralized database for storing the uploaded profile, attendance, reports of the one or more students and profiles of the one or more respective authorized person, whereby the user interface provided over a data communication device displays the profile of one or more student and one or more respective authorized person upon entering their corresponding unique identification number.
