BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
This invention relates to organic manure & Liquid Organic manure and a process for the production thereof.
OBTECTS OF THE INVENTION
It is therefore an object of this invention to propose organic manure & Liquid
Organic manure which is highly nutritive.
It is a further object of this invention to propose organic manure which improves the physical and chemical properties of the soil and enhances the soil micro flora.
Another object of this invention is to propose organic manure which increases the humus content of the soil and improves the water holding capacity.
These and other objects and advantages of the invention will be apparent from the ensuing description.
At the outset of the description which follows, it is to be understood that the ensuing description only illustrates a particular form of this invention. However, such a particular form of this invention is only an exemplary embodiment and the teachings of the invention are not intended to be taken restrictively.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
According to this invention is provided organic manure from poultry litter.
According to this invention is further provided a process for the production of the organic manure & Liquid Organic manure from poultry hter comprising the steps of anaerobically digesting the poultry litter into slurry; mixing the dewatered slurry (solid) with coir pith, neem cake and fish meal; subjecting the

same to aerobic digestion with a microbial consortium to obtain the bio-organic manure. The Liquid Organic manure, is obtained by taking the liquid portion of the dewatered slurry & enriching with biofertilizers, nutrient solubilisers and biocontrol agents.
By way of example, the digested poultry slurry is dewatered and the dewatered slurry (cake) is mixed with 33% to 55% by its weight of coir pith, 0.5% to 5.0% by its weight of neem cake and 0.5% to 5.0% by its weight of fish meal.
The microbial consortium consists of cellulolytic culture of fungi, bacteria and actinomycetes which is added in a proportion of 1.0 to 3.0% by weight of the cake.
The digestion and decomposition is effected at a temperature in the range of 68 to 86 degrees centigrade initially, which comes down to 50 to 32 degrees centigrade.
The liquid portion of the dewatered slurry is further added with biofertilizers, nutrient solubilisers and biocontrol agents
The organic manure thus obtained is suitable for crops like oil seeds, vegetables, fruits, spices, palms, plantation crops, medicinal and aromatic crops. The manure is rich in nutrients, carbon, nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, calcium, magnesium, sulphur, iron, zinc, copper, boron in addition to moisture and has a pH of about 6.8 to 7.7. The manure is highly suitable for organic farming leading to improvement of physical and chemical properties of the soil besides enhancing the soil micro-flora. It increases humus-contents in the soil and

improves water-holding capacity. The organic manure improves growth, yield and quality of the produce.
The Liquid Organic manure is suitable for a wide range of agricultural & Horticultural crops, and acts as a direct source of nutrients, in the form of drip irrigation and foliar spray.

I CLAIM:
1. Organic manure & Liquid organic manure produced from poultry litter.
2. A process for the production of the organic manure & Liquid organic manure from poultry litter comprising the steps of converting poultry litter into anaerobically digested slurry; dewatering the slurry; mixing the dewatered slurry (cake) with coir pith, neem cake and fish meal; subjecting the same to aerobic digestion with a microbial consortium to obtain the bio-organic manure.
3. The process as claimed in claim 2 wherein the cake (dewatered slurry) is mixed with 33% to 55% by its weight of coir pith.
4. The process as claimed in claim 2 wherein the cake (dewatered slurry) is mixed with 0.5 to 5.0% by its weight of neem cake.
5. The process as claimed in claim 2 wherein the cake (dewatered slurry) is mixed with 0.5 to 5.0% by its weight of fish meal
6. The process as claimed in claim 2 wherein said microbial consortium is a cellulolytic culture of fungi, bacteria and actinomycetes.
7. The process as claimed in claim 6 wherein said microbial consortium is added in a proportion of 1.0% to 3.0% by weight of the dewatered slurry (cake).

8. The process as claimed in claim 2 wherein said steps of mixing &
decomposition are effected at a temperature in the range of 68 to 86^ C
followed by a gradual lowering to a temperature in the range of 32 to 50^
C.
9. The process as claimed in claim 2 wherein the liquid portion (from
dewatering) is enriched with biofertilizers, nutrient solubilisers and
biocontrol agents.
10. A process for the production of organic manure from poultry litter
substantially as herein described and illustrated.
