Abstract: The present disclosure relates to an anchor clip (100), said anchor clip (100) including a support beam (135) and one or more clip wings (124) flexibly coupled to the support beam (135) such that the one or more clip wings (124) extends outwardly at an angle from the distal end of said support beam (135). Each of the one or more clip wings (124) may have a groove (126) configured to engage with and secure a panel (140). The panel (140) may be secured by inserting the support beam (135) through an opening (145) associated with the panel (140) such that the panel (140) bends said one or more clips (124) inwards, and said one or more clip wings (124) configured to return to their original shape when the panel (140) is brought above the groove (126), thereby causing the groove (145) to engage with the opening (145).

[0001] The present disclosure relates generally to clips. In particular, the present disclosure relates to an anchor clip.

BACKGROUND

[0003] Door panels are often held to the door frame using clips. These clips generally use push-pull mechanisms to secure the panels to the door. However, existing clip designs make it difficult to quickly detach the panel from the door and perform maintenance. Coupled with other space constraints in manufacturing vehicles, it is difficult to safely and reliably remove the panel from the clip.
[0004] Existing clips are also prone to damage each time the panel is inserted or released from the clip. The location where the clips are installed on the vehicle may also make it inconvenient to safely detach the panel from the clip. Additionally, existing clips are also complicated in design, thereby making them expensive to manufacture. Complicated designs also make it difficult to assemble the clip’s components and replace any components if they are worn out.
[0005] There is, therefore, a need for a device the shortcomings of the existing solutions. Particularly, there is a need for an anchor clip that is easily detachable and less prone to damage.

OBJECTS OF THE INVENTION
[0006] Some of the objects of the present disclosure, which at least one embodiment herein satisfies are listed herein below.
[0007] A general object of the present disclosure is to provide an anchor clip.
[0008] An object of the present disclosure is to provide an anchor clip that makes a panel attached thereto easy to remove and maintain.
[0009] Another object of the present disclosure is to provide an anchor clip that is easy to remove using a push-pull mechanism.
[0010] Another object of the present disclosure is to provide an anchor clip that is simple in design and easy to assemble.
[0011] Yet another object of the present disclosure is to provide an anchor clip that is not vulnerable to damage during removal.
[0012] The other objects and advantages of the present invention will be apparent from the following description when read in conjunction with the accompanying drawings, which are incorporated for illustration of the preferred embodiments of the present invention and are not intended to limit the scope thereof.

SUMMARY
[0013] Aspects of the present disclosure generally to clips. In particular, the present disclosure relates to an anchor clip.
[0014] In an aspect, an anchor clip may include a support beam having a substantially longitudinal contour, and one or more clip wings flexibly coupled to the support beam such that the one or more clip wings extends outwardly at an angle from the distal end of said support beam, each of the one or more clip wings having a groove configured to engage with and secure a panel, wherein the panel may be secured by inserting the support beam through an opening associated with the panel such that the panel bends said one or more clips inwards towards the support beam, and wherein said one or more clip wings configured to return to their original shape when the panel may be brought above the groove, thereby causing the inner surface of the groove to engage with the inner edge of the opening.
[0015] In an embodiment, the free end of the one or more clip wings may be elastically biased to move outward from the support beam.
[0016] In an embodiment, the support beam may be configured on a base plate, said base plate being configured to a substantially insurmountable structure whereon the panel may be to be secured.
[0017] In an embodiment, the panel may be released from the anchor clip by pushing the one or more clip wings towards the support beam.
[0018] In an embodiment, the anchor clip may include a detachable clip release tool having one or more prongs connected by a joint with the free ends of the one or more prongs being removably engaged with the one or more clip wings such that pushing the one or more prongs cause the one or more clip wings to be bent inwardly towards the support beam, thereby disengaging the groove from the inner edge of the opening and allowing the panel to be released from the anchor clip.
[0019] In an embodiment, the one or more prongs may be removably engaged with the one or more clip wings through a hole configured on a free end of said one or more clip wings.
[0020] In an embodiment, the one or more prongs of the clip release tool may be biased to move outwards from each other by an elastic element.
[0021] In an embodiment, the one or more prongs of the clip release tool may be pulled from the hole to allow the one or more prongs to disengage from the one or more clip wings, thereby allowing the clip wings to return to their original shape.
[0022] In an embodiment, the clip release tool may be a push-pull mechanism that allows the one or more clip wings to be pushed inwardly and pulled outwardly.
[0023] In an embodiment, the anchor clip may be configured to a vehicle door frame so as to secure a panel associated with the vehicle door.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION
[0030] The following is a detailed description of embodiments of the disclosure depicted in the accompanying drawings. The embodiments are in such detail as to clearly communicate the disclosure. However, the amount of detail offered is not intended to limit the anticipated variations of embodiments; on the contrary, the intention is to cover all modifications, equivalents, and alternatives falling within the spirit and scope of the present disclosure as defined by the appended claims.
[0031] Embodiments explained herein clips. In particular, the present disclosure relates to an anchor clip.
[0032] The present disclosure relates to an anchor clip, said anchor clip including a support beam and one or more clip wings flexibly coupled to the support beam such that the one or more clip wings extends outwardly at an angle from the distal end of said support beam. Each of the one or more clip wings may have a groove configured to engage with and secure a panel. The panel may be secured by inserting the support beam through an opening associated with the panel such that the panel bends said one or more clips inwards, and said one or more clip wings configured to return to their original shape when the panel may be brought above the groove, thereby causing the groove to engage with the opening.
[0033] FIG. 1 illustrates exemplary representations of the disclosed anchor clip 100, according to embodiments of the present disclosure. As shown therein, the anchor clip 100 may include a plate assembly 120 configured to secure a panel 140. In an embodiment, the panel 140 may be released using a clip release tool 160.
[0034] FIG. 2 illustrates exemplary representations of a plate assembly 120 of the disclosed anchor clip 100, according to embodiments of the present disclosure. As shown, the plate assembly 120 may include a support beam 135 having one or more clip wings 124-1 and 124-2 (collectively referred to as clip wings 124), the clip wings 124-1 and 124-2 having grooves 126-1, 126-2 and a hole 128-1 and 128-2 respectively. The support beam 135 may be configured to a base plate 130.

In an embodiment, the support beam 135 may be perpendicularly configured on the base plate 130. In an embodiment, the base plate 130 may be configured to a substantially insurmountable structure whereon the panel 140 may be to be secured. In an embodiment, the anchor clip 100 may be configured to a vehicle door frame so as to secure a panel associated with the vehicle door.
[0036] In an embodiment, the clip wings 124 may be flexibly coupled to the support beam 135 such that the one or more clip wings 124 extends outwardly at an angle from the distal end of the support beam 135. In an embodiment, each clip wing 124 may have the groove 126 configured to engage with and secure a panel 140. In an embodiment, the panel 140 may be secured by inserting the support beam 135 through an opening 145 associated with said panel 140. In an embodiment, the panel 140 may bend said one or more clips 124 inwards towards the support beam 135 as said support beam 135 is being inserted. In an embodiment, the one or more clip wings 124 may be configured to return to their original shape when the panel 140 may be brought above the groove 126, thereby causing the inner surface of the groove 145 to engage with the inner edge of the opening 145. In an embodiment, the free end of the one or more clip wings 124 may be elastically biased to move outwards from the support beam 135, thereby allowing the groove 126 to maintain contact with the inner edge of the opening 145. In such embodiments, the shape of the groove may be configured to prevent movement of the panel 140 with respect to the base plate 130.
[0037] FIG. 3 illustrates exemplary representations of the panel 140 secured by the disclosed anchor clip 100, according to embodiments of the present disclosure. As shown, the panel 140 may include an opening 145. In an embodiment, the opening 145 may be of substantially circular shape. In other embodiments, the opening 145 may have a substantially polygonal shape. In embodiments where the anchor clip 100 includes two clip wings 124, the diameter or the diagonal of the opening 145 may be less than the length between the inner surface of the groove 126-1 associated with the first clip wing 124-1 and the inner surface of the groove 126-2 associated with the second clip wing 124-2, wherein the inner surface of the grooves 126-1, 126-2 may be indicative of the surface that engages with the inner edge of the opening 145.
[0038] FIG. 4 illustrates exemplary representations of the clip release tool 160 disclosed anchor clip 100, according to embodiments of the present disclosure. As shown, the clip release tool 160 may include one or more prongs 165 connected at a joint 178, and an elastic element 170.
[0039] In an embodiment, the panel 140 may be released from the anchor clip 100 by pushing the one or more clip wings 124 towards the support beam 135.
[0040] In an embodiment, the detachable clip release tool 160 may include the one or more prongs 165 that may be connected by the joint 178 with the free ends of the one or more prongs 165 being removably engaged with the one or more clip wings 124 such that pushing the one or more prongs 165 cause the one or more clip wings 124 to be bent inwardly towards the support beam 135, thereby disengaging the groove 126 from the inner edge of the opening 145 and allowing the panel 140 to be released from the anchor clip 100.
[0041] In an embodiment, the one or more prongs 165 are removably engaged with the one or more clip wings 124 through a hole 128 configured on a free end of said one or more clip wings 124. In an embodiment, the one or more prongs 165 may be inserted into the hole 128 such that said one or more prongs engage with the clip wings 124. Thereon, the one or more prongs 165 may be inwardly pushed, thereby also causing the clip wings 124 to be pushed inwardly towards the support beam 135. In an embodiment, the one or more prongs 165 of the clip release tool 160 may be pushed into the hole 128 so as to move the one or more clip wings 124 inwards to allow to allow the panel 140 to be brought in from above the anchor clip 100 such that the opening 145 of the panel 140 aligns with the inner edge of the groove 126. Thereon, the clip release tool 160 may be pulled from the holes 128 to allow the one or more clip wings 124 to engage with the panel 140, thereby securing said panel 140 to the anchor clip 100. In such examples, the clip release tool 160 may be pulled away from the anchor clip 100 so as to disengage the one or more prongs 165 from the holes 128, thereby allowing the one or more clip wings 124 to return their original position and engage the inner surface of the groove 126 with the inner edge of the opening 145. In other examples, the one or more prongs 165 of the clip release tool 160 may be pushed into the holes 128 so as to move the one or more clip wings 124 inwards to allow the panel 140 to be disengaged and removed from the anchor clip 100. In such example, the clip release tool 160 may be pulled such that the one or more prongs 165 disengage from the hole 128. In an embodiment, the clip release tool 160 may be a push-pull mechanism that allows the one or more clip wings 124 to be pushed inwardly and pulled outwardly.
[0042] In an embodiment, the one or more prongs 165 of the clip release tool 160 may be biased to move outwards from each other by the elastic element 170. In an embodiment, the elastic element 170 may include, but not be limited to, a spring or any other resilient material.
[0043] The present disclosure, therefore, solves the need for a device the shortcomings of the existing solutions. Particularly, the present disclosure solves the need for an anchor clip that is easily detachable and less prone to damage.

The scope of the invention is determined by the claims that follow. , Claims:1. An anchor clip (100), comprising:
a support beam (135) having a substantially longitudinal contour; and
one or more clip wings (124) flexibly coupled to the support beam (135) such that the one or more clip wings (124) extends outwardly at an angle from a distal end of said support beam (135), each of the one or more clip wings (124) having a groove (126) configured to engage with and secure a panel (140), wherein the panel (140) is secured by inserting the support beam (135) through an opening (145) associated with the panel (140) such that the panel (140) bends said one or more clips (124) inwards towards the support beam (135), and wherein said one or more clip wings (124) configured to return to their original shape when the panel (140) is brought above the groove (126), thereby causing the inner surface of the groove (145) to engage with the inner edge of the opening (145).
2. The anchor clip (100) as claimed in claim 1, wherein a free end of the one or more clip wings (124) are elastically biased to move outward from the support beam (135).
3. The anchor clip (100) as claimed in claim 1, wherein the support beam (135) is configured on a base plate (130), said base plate (130) being configured to a substantially insurmountable structure whereon the panel (140) is to be secured.
4. The anchor clip (100) as claimed in claim 1, wherein the panel (140) is released from the anchor clip (100) by pushing the one or more clip wings (125) towards the support beam (135).
5. The anchor clip (100) as claimed in claim 4, wherein the anchor clip (100) comprises a detachable clip release tool (160) comprising one or more prongs (165) connected by a joint (178) with a free end of the one or more prongs (165) being removably engaged with the one or more clip wings (124) such that pushing the one or more prongs (165) cause the one or more clip wings (124) to be bent inwardly towards the support beam (135), thereby disengaging the groove (126) from the inner edge of the opening (145) and allowing the panel (140) to be released from the anchor clip (100).
6. The anchor clip (100) as claimed in claim 5, wherein the one or more prongs (165) are removably engaged with the one or more clip wings (124) through a hole (128) configured on the free end of said one or more clip wings (124).
7. The anchor clip (100) as claimed in claim 4, wherein the one or more prongs (165) of the clip release tool (160) is biased to move outwards from each other by an elastic element (170).
8. The anchor clip (100) as claimed in claim 4, wherein the one or more prongs (165) of the clip release tool (160) is pulled from the hole (128) to allow the one or more prongs (165) to disengage from the one or more clip wings (124), thereby allowing the clip wings (124) to return to their original shape.
9. The anchor clip (100) as claimed in claim 8, wherein the clip release tool (160) is a push-pull mechanism that allows the one or more clip wings (124) to be pushed inwardly and pulled outwardly.
10. The anchor clip (100) as claimed in claim 1, wherein the anchor clip (100) is configured to a vehicle door frame so as to secure a panel associated with the vehicle door.
