Abstract: Angle fixing tool is basically used for setting one component at fixed angle mounted on a cylindrical helical or straight cut component during laser welding assembly. Briefly, the present invention is small and easy to use and saves approximately 90% of time consumed.
FIELD OF THE INVENTION
This invention is related to proper fixing of certain angle between component
mounted another cylindrical component having helical or straight cut for laser welding
assembly.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
Angle between component mounted on cylindrical component having helical or
straight cut was maintained with the help of profile projector. But using profile projector
often introduces error during welding assembly.
SUMMARY OF PRESENT INVENTION
Present invention is concerned with main angle which is to be fixed at certain angle
between components mounted on another cylindrical component having helical or straight
cut during laser welding assembly.
In accordance with one aspect of the present invention is to provide proper tool for
angle fixing between components.
Main objective of this tool is to provide more accurate fixed angle between
components.
Briefly, the present Invention is small and easy to use.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION
Angle fixing tool is used to maintain fixed angle say 30deg between components
mounted on another cylindrical component having helical or straight cut.
A brief description of the set up and the procedure for angle fixing of components:-
I) Figure 1 & 2 has different parts namely, Base Plate-1, Support Block-1, Locating
Pin-1, Allen Screw-2, Dowel Pin-2, Cheese head screw-2, Holding Chain-1,
Guide Pin-2, Block-1, Allen Screw-2.
II) Referring figure 1, 2 , the present invention is a facility to provide fix 30 degree
angle between component mounted on cylindrical component having helical; or
straight cut.
III) Support Block (2) and block (12) are mounted on Base Plate (1) with Allen
Screws and Base Plate (1) has Locating Pin(4) to hold cylindrical component on
it and fitted with a Position Pin(3) connected with Holding Chain (10) . Support
Block has a cut on it to support the component which is to be assembled on the
cylindrical component with a fixed angle guided by Guided Pin (2). When
Cylindrical component is placed on the Base Plate’s Locating Pin its helical or
straight cut is guided by Locating pin through a hole made on Support Block

aligned with center of cut made on the cylindrical component. Other Block (12)
is used for a specific component to be mounted in between two components.
IV) Mount cylindrical component on Position Pin indicated as No. 4 in Fig 2 guided
by another position pin indicated as No. 3 in Fig 2 to locate the cut made on
cylindrical component.
V) Put another component whose angle to be maintained with reference to
cylindrical component over it and place its one end between the guided pins
indicated as No. 11 of Fig 1 which are fixed at an angle 30 degree with
reference to Guided Pin as No. 4 in Fig 2. These guided pins are fixed on a
Support block indicated as No. 2 of Fig 2.
VI) The advantages of designed tool are :-
This setup consumes around 90% lesser time than manual fixing of angle.
More accurate.
No rejection.

2. The present invention as in Claim 1, capable of maintaining a fixed angle between component mounted on another component having suitable cut like helical or straight during welding assembly.
3. The present invention as per claim 1, wherein the angle fixing tool consumes around 90% lesser time than manual angle fixing.
4. The present invention as per claim 1, wherein a suitable arrangement is provided to avoid reverse mounting of the component.
