Abstract: The present invention relates to an anode and a secondary battery comprising the anode, wherein the anode can increase the internal resistance of the battery and thus improve external short-circuit safety. The electrode according to an aspect of the present invention is characterized by comprising a current collector and a plurality of anode active material layers located on at least one surface of the current collector, wherein the plurality of anode active material layers has: a first anode active material layer including a lithium-titanium oxide (LTO) and carbon nanotubes (CNT); and one or two or more second anode active material layers including an anode active material other than the lithium titanium oxide (LTO). The loading amount of the first anode active material layer is at most 0.2 mAh/cm2, and the first anode active material layer is in surface contact with the current collector or positioned between the two or more second anode active material layers.
