CLIAMS:1. A cosmetic composition for preventing and reducing signs of skin aging comprising:
a) 0.0015% to 0.044% (w/w) of a salt of calcium;
b) 0.00005% to 1% (w/w) of oleanolic acid; and
c) 70% to 99.9% (w/w) of a cosmetically acceptable carrier.
2. The cosmetic composition as claimed in claim 1, wherein the signs of skin aging are selected from the group consisting of wrinkles, fine lines, sagging skin, lack of radiance, and combinations thereof.
3. The cosmetic composition as claimed in claim 1, wherein the salt of calcium is calcium chloride.
4. The cosmetic composition as claimed in claim 3, wherein the cosmetic composition comprises 0.018% (w/w) of calcium chloride.
5. The cosmetic composition as claimed in claim 1, wherein the cosmetic composition comprises 0.0001% (w/w) of oleanolic acid.
6. The cosmetic composition as claimed in claim 1, wherein the cosmetic composition is formulated in a form selected from the group consisting of skin cream, skin lotion, sunscreen lotion, anti-aging product, skin foundation, gel, skin spot correction product, serums, moisturizing spray, facial scrub, and facial peel.
7. A method for preventing and reducing signs of skin aging by topically administering a cosmetic composition, wherein the cosmetic composition comprises:
a) 0.0015% to 0.044% (w/w) of a salt of calcium;
b) 0.00005% to 1% (w/w) of oleanolic acid; and
c) 70% to 99.9% (w/w) of a cosmetically acceptable carrier.
8. The method as claimed in claim 7, wherein the signs of skin aging are selected from the group consisting of wrinkles, fine lines, sagging skin, lack of radiance, and combinations thereof.
9. The method as claimed in claim 7, wherein the salt of calcium is calcium chloride.
10. The cosmetic composition as claimed in claim 9, wherein the cosmetic composition comprises 0.018% (w/w) of calcium chloride.
11. The cosmetic composition as claimed in claim 7, wherein the cosmetic composition comprises 0.0001% (w/w) of oleanolic acid.
