Abstract: The present disclosure relates a composition comprising isopropyl myristate, polypropylene glycol 15 stearyl ether, and cyclopentasiloxane. The said composition is present in a non-irritating deodorant and at least partially inhibits the irritating factor of an alcohol that is present in the deodorant. The present disclosure also relates to a method of preparing the composition as described herein.
CLIAMS:1. A composition comprising:
a. isopropyl myristate;
b. polypropylene glycol 15 stearyl ether; and
c. cyclopentasiloxane,
wherein said composition is present in a non-irritating deodorant.
2. The composition as claimed in claim 1, wherein
i. polypropylene glycol 15 stearyl ether to isopropyl myristate w/w ratio in said composition ranges from 1:0.8 to 1:10,
ii. isopropyl myristate to cyclopentasiloxane w/w ratio in said composition ranges from 1:1.625 to 1:20, and
iii. polypropylene glycol 15 stearyl ether to cyclopentasiloxane w/w ratio in said composition ranges from 1:1.3 to 1:20.

The composition as claimed in any of the claims 1-2, said composition further comprising at least one irritation causing ingredient selected from the group consisting of carboxylic acids, keto acids, a-hydroxy acids, ß-hydroxy acids, retinoids, peroxides, organic alcohols, and combinations thereof.
4. The composition as claimed in claim 3, wherein said at least one irritation causing ingredient weight percentage in said composition ranges from 20 to 65%.
5. The composition as claimed in any of the claims 1-4, further optionally comprising at least one cosmetically suitable excipient selected from the group consisting of at least one perfume fixer, at least one anti-microbial agent, at least one humectant, at least one fragrance, at least one propellant and combinations thereof.
6. The composition as claimed in claim 5, wherein said at least one cosmetically suitable excipient weight percentage in said composition ranges from 32 to 77%.
7. The composition as claimed in claim 5, wherein said at least one perfume fixer is selected from the group consisting of diethyl phthalate, dipropylene glycol, isopropyl palmitate, and combinations thereof, said at least one anti-microbial agent is selected from the group consisting of triclosan, phenoxyethanol benzalkoniumchlorid, ethylhexylglycerin, and combinations thereof, said at least one humectant is selected from the group consisting of propylene glycol, glycerin, butylene glycol, polypropylene glycol, sodium pyrrolidone carboxylic acid, magnesium pyrrolidone carboxylic acid, hydroxyethyluria, sorbitol, hexylene glycol, and combinations thereof, and wherein said at least one propellant is selected from the group consisting of liquefied petroleum gas, nitrogen, dimethyl ether, carbon dioxide, hydrofluorocarbon, and combinations thereof .
8. The composition as claimed in any of the claims 5-7, wherein said at least one perfume fixer weight percentage in said composition is 0.2 to 1%, said at least one anti-microbial agent weight percentage in said composition is 0.05 to 0.5%, said at least one humectant weight percentage in said composition is 0.2 to 15%, said at least one fragrance weight percentage in said composition is 0.2 to 15%, and said at least one propellant weight percentage in said composition is 30 to 90%.
9. A method for preparing a composition as claimed in claim 8, said method comprising the following steps:
a. adding at least one irritation causing ingredient in a vessel and stirring at a temperature ranging from 15 to 45oC and at 20 to 200RPM;
b. adding at least one anti-microbial agent and mixing for a time period ranging from 2 minutes to 5 minutes, at a temperature ranging from 15 to 45oC and at 20 to 200RPM to obtain a first mixture;
c. adding at least one humectant, isopropyl myristate, polypropylene glycol 15 stearyl ether, and cyclopentasiloxane to first mixture, and mixing for a time period ranging from 5 minutes to 10 minutes, at a temperature ranging from 15 to 45 oC and at 20 to 200RPM to obtain a second mixture;
d. adding at least one fragrance, and at least one perfume fixer to second mixture and mixing for a time period ranging from 5 minutes to 10 minutes, at a temperature ranging from 15 to 45oC and at 20 to 200RPM to obtain a third mixture;
e. transferring third mixture to a container having an aerosol valve; and
f. adding at least one propellant to third mixture and sealing said container to obtain said non-irritating deodorant composition.

The method as claimed in claim 9, wherein said at least one irritation causing ingredient in said composition is selected from the group consisting of carboxylic acids, keto acids, a-hydroxy acids, ß-hydroxy acids, retinoids, peroxides, organic alcohols, and combinations thereof, said at least one anti-microbial agent in said composition is selected from the group consisting of triclosan, phenoxyethanol benzalkoniumchlorid, ethylhexylglycerin, and combinations thereof, said at least one humectant in said composition is selected from the group consisting of propylene glycol, butylene glycol, polypropylene glycol, sodium pyrrolidone carboxylic acid, magnesium pyrrolidone carboxylic acid, hydroxyethyluria, sorbitol, hexylene glycol, and combinations thereof, said at least one perfume fixer in said composition is selected from the group consisting of diethyl phthalate, dipropylene glycol, isopropyl palmitate, and combinations thereof, and said at least one propellant in said composition is selected from the group consisting of liquefied petroleum gas, nitrogen, dimethyl ether, carbon dioxide, hydrofluorocarbon, and combinations thereof.
11. The method as claimed in any of the claims 9-10, wherein said at least one irritation causing ingredient weight percentage in said composition is 20-65%, isopropyl myristate weight percentage in said composition is 0.8% to 10%, polypropylene glycol 15 stearate ether weight percentage in said composition is 1% to 15%, cyclopentasiloxane weight percentage in said composition is 1.3% to 20%, said at least one perfume fixer weight percentage in said composition is 0.2% to 1%, said at least one anti-microbial agent weight percentage in said composition is 0.05 to 0.5%, said at least one humectant weight percentage in said composition is 0.2% to 15%, said at least one fragnance weight percentage in said composition is 0.2% to 15%, and said at least one propellant weight percentage in said composition is 30% to 90%.
12. A composition comprising:
a. ethanol having weight percentage of 40.20% in said composition;
b. isopropyl myristate having weight percentage of 0.80% in said composition;
c. polypropylene glycol 15 stearyl ether having weight percentage of 1% in said composition;
d. cyclopentasiloxane having weight concentration of 1.3% in said composition;
e. diethyl phthalate having weight concentration of 1% in said composition;
f. triclosan having weight percentage of 0.20% in said composition;
g. propylene glycol having weight percentage of 1.5% in said composition;
h. fragrance having weight percentage of 4% in said composition; and
i. liquefied petroleum gas having weight percentage of 50% in said composition,
wherein said composition is a non-irritating deodorant.
13. A method of preparing a composition as claimed in claim 12, said method comprising of:
a. adding ethanol in a vessel and stirring at a temperature ranging from 15 to 45oC and at 20 to 200RPM;
b. adding triclosan and mixing for a time period ranging from 2 minutes to 5 minutes, at a temperature ranging from 15 to 45oC and at 20 to 200RPM to obtain a first mixture;
c. adding propylene glycol, isopropyl myristate, polypropylene glycol 15 stearyl ether, and cyclopentasiloxane to first mixture, and mixing for a time period ranging from 5 minutes to 10 minutes, at a temperature ranging from 15 to 45oC and at 20 to 200RPM to obtain a second mixture;
d. adding at least one fragrance, and diethyl phthlate to second mixture and mixing for a time period ranging from 5 minutes to 10 minutes, at a temperature ranging from 15 to 45oC and at 20 to 200RPM to obtain a third mixture;
e. transferring third mixture to a container having an aerosol valve; and
f. adding liquefied petroleum gas to third mixture and sealing said container to obtain said composition.
14. A composition comprising:
a. isopropyl myristate;
b. polypropylene glycol 15 stearyl ether; and
c. cyclopentasiloxane,
wherein said composition at least partially inhibits the irritation factor of at least one irritation causing ingredient present in a deodorant.
15. The composition as claimed in claim 14, wherein
i. polypropylene glycol 15 stearyl ether to isopropyl myristate w/w ratio in said composition ranges from 1:0.8 to 1:10,
ii. isopropyl myristate to cyclopentasiloxane w/w ratio in said composition is 1:1.625-1:20, and
iii. polypropylene glycol 15 stearyl ether to cyclopentasiloxane w/w ratio in said composition is 1:1.3-1:20.
16. The composition as claimed in claim 14, wherein said at least one irritation causing ingredient present in a deodorant is selected from the group consisting of carboxylic acids, keto acids, a-hydroxy acids, ß-hydroxy acids, retinoids, peroxides, organic alcohols, and combinations thereof.
17. A method for preparing a composition as claimed in claim 14, wherein said method comprises a step of adding isopropyl myristate, polypropylene glycol 15 stearyl ether, and cyclopentasiloxane to a mixture comprising said at least one irritation causing ingredient, and mixing for a time period ranging from 5 minutes to 10 minutes, at a room temperature and at 20 to 200 RPM.
18. A method for inhibiting the irritation factor of at least one irritation causing ingredient present in a deodorant, said method comprising of:
a. obtaining a composition as claimed in any of the claims 14-15; and
b. adding said composition to a deodorant comprising said at least one irritation causing ingredient as claimed in 16,
wherein said method at least partially inhibits the irritation factor of said at least one irritation causing ingredient present in the deodorant.
19. The method as claimed in claim 18, wherein said composition to said at least one irritation causing ingredient present in a deodorant w/w ratio is 1:5 to 1:15.
20. The method as claimed in claim 19, wherein said composition to said at least one irritation causing ingredient present in a deodorant w/w ratio is 1:13.
