FIELD OF INVENTION
This invention relates to anti theft system of tractor. The system is operated by
means of remote control through fuel shut off lever.
BACKGROUNDIPRIOR ART OF THE INVENTION
In tractors, fuel shut off lever is mounted on Fuel injection pump which is used
to cut the fuel supply from fuel tank to engine or used to stop the engine.
Presently, Fuel shut off lever is controlled by fuel shut off cable manually.
Fuel shut-off system only stops the engine of the tractor manually. Hence, the
engine can be started easily without ignition key through direct self system or
with the help of external force. Therefore, parked tractor is not safe.
Hence, the present invention has been proposed for automatic control of fuel
shut off lever by means of remote. So that, the parked vehicle can remain safe.
OBJECTS OF THE INVENTION
The primary object of the present invention is to provide anti theft system of
tractor for automatic control of fuel shut off lever.
Another object of the present invention is to provide anti theft system of tractor
which is efficient and reliable.
Yet another object of the present invention is to provide anti theft system of
tractor which makes the vehicle completely safe from theft.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
According to this invention, there is provided anti theft system of tractor
comprising of a sensing unit receiving signal from remote and signaling to
actuator connected thereto, wherein the actuator controls position of fuel shut
off lever.

DETAIL DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION WITH REFERENCE TO THE
ACCOMPANYING DRAWINGS:-
This invention discloses anti theft system of tractor comprising of a sensing
unit receiving signal from remote and signaling to actuator connected thereto,
wherein actuator controls position of fuel shut off lever and the sensing unit is
connected with a battery.
Now, reference may be made to fig. 1, indicating the following:
1- Actuator
2- Actuator mounting bracket
3- fuel shut off lever
4- anti theft unit box
5- actuator moving part (actuator rod) which controls the position of shut of
lever in downward & upward position
6- remote sensing unit
7- linkage used for manually stopping the engine.
Unit box is mounted onto engine. The actuator and remote sensing unit are
provided in unit box and actuator rod rests on fuel shut off lever.
Referring to fig. lA, when lock switch on remote is pressed, the sensor unit
signals actuator relay1 and actuator rod moves in downward direction & fuel
shut off lever moves with rod in downward direction. In this position, Fuel shut
off lever cuts the fuel supply from fuel tank to engine &, engine does not start
through self system, Direct self system & any external force. This is Lock
Position of unit.
Referring to fig. lB, when unlock switch on remote is pressed, the sensor unit
signals actuator relay2 and actuator rod moves in upward direction & fuel shut
of lever also moves with actuator rod in upward direction. In this Position, Fuel
supply takes place from fuel tank to Engine & Engine starts easily:- through
any starting system. This is Unlock Position of Unit.
Thus, an Anti theft unit is provided on fuel shut-off lever which is controlled by
remote. It is completely covered inside the box & Mounted on engine. Remote
control of that unit is provided separately. With the help of anti theft unit, the
fuel supply (Lock the engine fuel supply) can be stopped by just pressing one
switch on remote. This way the system prevents tractor from theft. The tractor
can't be started without remote control in locked position.
Thus, the anti theft system of invention is controlled by means of remote and
user can stop the fuel supply from fuel tank of engine till he does not desire to
use vehicle. when the system is in locked position, nobody can start the tractor
from self system, direct self system and by any external force. User can stop
the engine through the remote if desired.
It is to be noted that the present invention is susceptible to modifications,
adaptations and changes by those skilled in the art. Such variant
embodiments employing the concepts and features of this invention are
intended to be within the scope of the present invention, which is further set
forth under the following claims:

WE CLAIM:
1. Anti theft system of tractor comprising of a sensing unit receiving signal
from remote and signaling to actuator connected thereto, wherein the
actuator controls position of fuel shut off lever.
2. Anti theft system of tractor as claimed in claim 1, wherein the sensing
$ unit is connected with a battery.
3. Anti theft system of tractor as claimed in claim 1 or 2, wherein the
actuator and remote sensing unit are accommodated in a unit box
mounted onto engine.
4. Anti theft system of tractor as claimed in any of the preceding claims,
wherein an actuator rod rests on the fuel shut off lever.
5. Anti theft system of tractor as claimed in claim 4, wherein the fuel shut
off lever moves with rod in upward and downward direction for unlocking
and locking respectively.
