Apparatus And Method For Determining State Of Degradation Of Battery, Battery Pack, And Electric Vehicle
Abstract: An apparatus for determining the state of degradation of a battery is provided. The apparatus comprises: a sensing unit configured to output sensing information indicating a voltage and a current of the battery; and a control unit. The control unit determines a degradation rate and a measured Q-dV/dQ curve of the battery on the basis of the sensing information. The measured Q-dV/dQ curve indicates a relationship between the storage capacity of the battery and the ratio of a change in the voltage of the battery to a change in the storage capacity of the battery. The control unit detects a plurality of feature points from the measured Q-dV/dQ curve. The control unit determines a cathode degradation rate, an anode degradation rate, and lithium-ion loss of the battery on the basis of the battery degradation rate, the plurality of feature points, a predetermined cathode Q-dV/dQ curve, and a predetermined anode Q-dV/dQ.
