Apparatus And Method For Manufacturing Reduced Iron

Abstract: Provided are an apparatus and method for manufacturing reduced iron. The method for manufacturing reduced iron includes degrading pulverized iron ore and reducing the pulverized iron ore by means of at least one rotary flow reduction device using reduction gas. Thus ultra pulverized iron ore may be reduced using the reduction gas containing abundant hydrogen in a rotary fluidized bed reduction reactor to produce reduced iron thereby reducing carbon dioxide and also reducing the ultra pulverized iron ore including low quality iron which is difficult to reduce.

Specification

WHAT IS CLAIMED IS:
1. A method of manufacturing a reduced iron, comprising:
powderizing fine iron ore; and
reducing the powderized fine iron ore by using a reducing agent gas by at least one rotation type fluidization reduction apparatus.
2. The method of manufacturing a reduced iron of claim 1, wherein:
the reducing by the rotation type fluidization reduction apparatus
includes
generating centrifugal force in the reduction apparatus by an angular velocity and adjusting fluidization of the powderized fine iron ore; and
fluidizing and reducing the fine iron ore by using the centrifugal force by the reducing agent gas.
3. The method of manufacturing a reduced iron of claim 2,
comprising:
fluidizing and previously reducing the fine iron ore by the generated centrifugal force.
4. The method of manufacturing a reduced iron of claim 3,
comprising:
separating and collecting the fine powder reduced iron in order to increase a total iron content.

5. The method of manufacturing reduced iron of any one of claims
1 to 4, wherein:
the reducing by the rotation type fluidization reduction apparatus includes heating and spraying hydrogen.
6. The method of manufacturing reduced iron of any one of claims
1 to 4, comprising:
circulating the exhausted reducing gas.
7. The method of manufacturing a reduced iron of any one of
claims 1 to 4, wherein:
the reducing by the rotation type fluidization reduction apparatus includes adjusting a reaction temperature by addition of pure oxygen.
8. An apparatus for manufacturing a reduced iron, comprising:
an iron ore powderizing apparatus for adjusting particles of fine iron ore; and
at least one rotation type fluidization reduction apparatus for reducing powderized iron ore by using centrifugal force.
9. The apparatus for manufacturing a reduced iron of claim 8,
wherein:
in the case where a plurality of rotation type fluidization reduction

apparatuses is provided,
an apparatus for separating and collecting the reduced iron is included between the plurality of reduction apparatuses.
10. The apparatus for manufacturing a reduced iron of claim 8,
wherein:
the rotation type fluidization reduction apparatuses are formed in series or in parallel.
11. The apparatus for manufacturing a reduced iron of any one of
claims 8 to 10, further comprising:
a reducing gas circulating apparatus for circulating a reducing gas exhausted from the rotation type fluidization reduction apparatuses into the powderizing apparatus or the rotation type fluidization reduction apparatuses.
12. The apparatus for manufacturing a reduced iron of any one of
claims 8 to 10, further comprising:
a pure oxygen adding apparatus for adjusting a reaction temperature in the rotation type fluidization reduction apparatuses.
