Abstract: An apparatus for controlling the conveyance between rollers according to an embodiment is provided with a tension controlled variable detector that detects a tension controlled variable a speed shaft speed controller that performs control so that conveyance speed matches a speed shaft speed instruction a tension shaft speed controller that performs control so that conveyance speed matches a tension shaft speed instruction a synchronization speed instruction generating unit that synchronizes the speed shaft speed instruction and a tension shaft reference speed instruction a tension control operation unit that outputs a tension control correction value on the basis of proportional compensation obtained by multiplication by a proportional gain and integral compensation obtained by multiplication by an integral gain followed by integration an adjustment execution instruction generating unit that outputs an adjustment execution instruction during an automatic adjustment period a binary output unit that outputs a positive or negative value of an additional value amplitude as an adjustment time additional value during the automatic adjustment period a tension shaft speed instruction generating unit that outputs a tension shaft speed instruction on the basis of the tension shaft reference speed instruction the tension control correction value and the adjustment time additional value and a gain calculation unit that calculates a proportional gain and an integral gain on the basis of the period and amplitude of a tension control deviation during the automatic adjustment period.
