Embodiments of the present invention generally relate to a milk processing apparatus and particularly to an apparatus for processing milk for preparation of dairy products.
Description of Related Art
[002] Milk is a good source of many essential nutrients and vitamins, including calcium, protein, and vitamin D. It is useful for building and maintaining healthy bones and teeth and maintaining a normal blood pressure in human being. Dairy farms employ a variety of the milk as a raw material, with cow's milk being a most common.
[003] The raw milk may contain some pathogens like Campylobacter, E. coli, salmonella, listeria etc. These pathogens may be killed by pasteurization making the milk safe for consumption. On the other hand, the packaged milk or dairy products may contain some preservatives and adulterants such as hydrogen peroxide, salicylic acid, benzoic acid, water, neutralizers and melamine. These preservatives increase a life of the dairy products; however, adversely affecting vital organs of a body.
[004] Every household needs the milk for consumption; however, in fact moving life, it is difficult to regularly prepare the dairy products at home. Cheese, one of the most consumed dairy products needs acidification of the milk while a curd needs processing like draining and salting. Also, a lot of time is wasted in buying these products from a market.
[005] There is thus a need for an apparatus for preparing the dairy products in home without much hardness.
