Armature Coil And Manufacturing Method Therefor
Abstract: This armature coil comprises in particular a plurality of coil conductors that are wound in a plurality of slots that are formed at a stator core and that open inward in the radial direction wherein the armature coil is formed as follows: the plurality of coil conductors each form a substantial trapezoidal shape the circumferential width of which narrows inward in the radial direction; the plurality of coil conductors in the slots each have roughly the same cross section with the circumferential width narrowing for the coil conductors disposed farther inward in the radial direction; and the coil conductors alternately have a protruding shape for one conductor and a recessed shape that fits along the protruding shape for another.
