CROSS-REFERENCE TO RELATED APPLICATIONS AND PRIORITY
[001] The present Application claims priority to Indian Patent Application No. 202041028714 titled “ARMOURED HULL ON VEHICLE CHASSIS TO PROTECT OCCUPANTS IN VEHICLE” filed on 06th July, 2020, the entity of which is hereby incorporated by reference.

TECHNICAL FIELD
[002] The present subject matter relates to protection of occupants in vehicle and more specifically relates to construction of armoured hull on vehicle to protect occupants present in vehicle from blast or explosion threats.
BACKGROUND
[003] The purpose of V-hulls is to increase vehicle and crew survivability by deflecting an upward directed blast from a landmine away from the vehicle, while also presenting a sloped armor face. By presenting its armor at an angle, it increases the amount of material a ballistic projectile must pass through in order to penetrate the vehicle, and increases the chance of deflection. V-hulls are incorporated in armored vehicle designs in several different ways. Vehicles operating in territory where landmines or explosives are used can be life threatening for occupants present in vehicle. The blast or explosion causes substantial damage to vehicle, which can be fatal to occupants present in vehicle. There is a need to provide a shield for occupants in vehicle, which can absorb blast forces and minimize injuries to occupants.

OBJECTS OF THE INVENTION
[004] Main object of the present invention is to protect occupants present in vehicle from blast or explosion.
[005] Another object of the present invention is to provide armoured hull on vehicle to minimize injuries to occupants in vehicle.
SUMMARY
[006] Before the present system and method are described, it is to be understood that this application is not limited to the particular machine or an apparatus, and methodologies described, as there can be multiple possible embodiments that are not expressly illustrated in the present disclosure. It is also to be understood that the terminology used in the description is for the purpose of describing the particular versions or embodiments only and is not intended to limit the scope of the present application. This summary is provided to introduce aspects related to providing armoured hull on vehicle to protect occupants from blasts or explosion. This summary is not intended to identify essential features of the proposed subject matter nor is it intended for use in determining or limiting the scope of the proposed subject matter.
[007] In present implementation, an armoured hull on vehicle is for protecting vehicle occupants from explosive forces and materials, in particular when explosives are positioned on or under the ground such that a vehicle passing over it would be exposed to blast or explosion. The armoured hull acts as shield during blast and minimizes injuries to occupants present in vehicle.

STATEMENT OF INVENTION
[008] Accordingly, the present invention discloses an armoured vehicle comprising of armoured hull and chassis to protect the occupants from blasts or explosions.
[009] Accordingly, the present invention discloses an armoured hull configured to shield the occupants from blasts or explosion and minimize injuries to occupants. The armoured hull is be made from RAMOR 500 steel material and of 6mm thickness. The chassis is configured to be made as a 4x4 chassis with the front end being dis-engageable. The armoured hull is configured to eliminate the three primary kill mechanisms of explosions like fragmentation, blast overpressure and acceleration.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS
[010] The foregoing summary, as well as the following detailed description of embodiments, is better understood when read in conjunction with the appended drawing. For the purpose of illustrating the disclosure, there is shown in the present document example constructions of the disclosure, however, the disclosure is not limited to the specific methods and apparatus disclosed in the document and the drawing:
[011] The detailed description is described with reference to the accompanying figure. In the figure, the left-most digit(s) of a reference number identifies the figure in which the reference number first appears. The same numbers are used throughout the drawing to refer like features and components.
[012] Figure 1 (a) illustrates side view of chassis layout for blast protective vehicle.
[013] Figure 1 (b) illustrates a top view of chassis layout for blast protective vehicle.
[014] Figure 2 illustrates a blast protective vehicle with armoured hull and turret.
[015] The figure depicts various embodiments of the present disclosure for purposes of illustration only. One skilled in the art will readily recognize from the following discussion that alternative embodiments of the structures and methods illustrated herein may be employed without departing from the principles of the disclosure described herein.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION
[016] Some embodiments of this disclosure, illustrating all its features, will now be discussed in detail. The words "comprising", “having”, and "including," and other forms thereof, are intended to be equivalent in meaning and be open ended in that an item or items following any one of these words is not meant to be an exhaustive listing of such item or items, or meant to be limited to only the listed item or items. Although any systems and methods similar or equivalent to those described herein can be used in the practice or testing of embodiments of the present disclosure, the exemplary, systems and methods are now described. The disclosed embodiments are merely exemplary of the disclosure, which may be embodied in various forms.
[017] Various modifications to the embodiment will be readily apparent to those skilled in the art and the generic principles herein may be applied to other embodiments. However, one of ordinary skill in the art will readily recognize that the present disclosure is not intended to be limited to the embodiments illustrated, but is to be accorded the widest scope consistent with the principles and features described herein.
[018] The present subject matter discloses a 4x4 vehicle with armoured hull to protect occupants present in vehicle from blast caused by explosives or mines. The vehicle chassis layout is made on an indigenously developed 4x4 chassis with front dis-engageable option. The vehicle is powered by BSIII Volvo 235 KW water cooled Turbo charged engine matched with a fully automatic 6-speed transmission and backbone undercarriage. The designed hull ensures a significant increase in the survivability baseline over existing motor vehicle equipment and will mitigate casualties resulting from blast or explosion. The hull will mitigate or eliminate the three primary kill mechanisms of explosions fragmentation, blast overpressure and acceleration. It will also counter the secondary kill mechanisms of vehicle crashes following mine strikes and fire aboard vehicles.
[019] The hull is made from Armoured Steel material having 6mm thickness. Steel hull acts as shield between occupants present in vehicle and external life endangering threats. It minimizes injuries to occupants sitting in the vehicle. The newly designed hull with the side profile protects the occupants from blast threats hidden on the roadside like tree barks or side walls etc and also should provide adequate space for the free movement of the occupants during their operational maneuvers and to move for embossing and debussing.
[020] Figure 1 (a) and 1 (b) illustrates a vehicle (100) having a chassis (20) to mount the armoured hull.
[021] Figure 2 illustrates a vehicle (100) comprising of chassis (20) and an armoured hull (40) to protect the occupants inside vehicle from blasts and explosion.
[022] Accordingly, the present invention discloses an armoured vehicle (100) to protect the occupants inside vehicle comprises of armoured hull (40), turbocharged engine, backbone carriage and chassis (20). The armoured hull (40) is configured to shield the occupants from blasts or explosion and minimize injuries to occupants. The armoured hull (40) is configured to be made from RAMOR 500 steel material and of a predetermined thickness. The chassis (20) is configured from a 4x4 chassis with selectively dis-engageable front end. The armoured hull (40) is configured to increase the survivability of occupants present in vehicle (100). The armoured hull (40) is configured to mitigate or eliminate the three primary kill mechanisms of explosions like fragmentation, blast overpressure and acceleration.
[023] Further, the invention can be used, but not limited to, in the following applications.
[024] Exemplary embodiments discussed above may provide certain advantages. Though not required to practice aspects of the disclosure, these advantages may include those provided by the following features.
[025] Some embodiments protect the occupants in vehicle from blasts and explosion.
