Abstract: In the proposed invention, we have added a socket to to the devices which are consuming more energy and these devices sending data to a Intelligent edge device. We can talk to intelligent edge device like if I have 2 gysers, 1 air conditioner and 1 washing machine and their working duration is different, we can get the amount of energy consumption by the intelligent edge device. This intelligent edge device is also capable of telling us like we have to limit the use of gyser for 30 minutes instead of one hour.

Background of the Invention
US4644320A A home energy monitoring and control system for monitoring the electrical energy usage of a plurality of appliance loads. The system includes an energy monitor unit for each appliance load which plugs into a standard AC wall outlet and monitors power consumption and also has a power line transmitter/receiver for communicating with a master control station. The master control station receives energy usage data from each of the monitor units and stores the data for display in various user-selectable formats.
Research Gap:
1. The current invention is missing the uses of artificial intelligence.
2. The current system cannot communicate the user that how energy consumption can be reduced in effective manner.
None of the prior art indicate above either alone or in combination with one another disclose what the present invention has disclosed. Present invention is Artificial Intelligence based Home energy monitoring system.

Discloses herein an artificial intelligence-based home energy monitoring system comprises Intelligent Edge Device (105), Display Board (106), and Router (107), Micro Controller (201), RF Modem (301), Computing Unit (302) Current Sensor (203), Voltage Sensor (204), Real time Clock (205), and Power Supply (303), Data Storage (304), Speaker (305), Mic (306), and Computing Stick (307).
All appliances send signals to the intelligent edge device with the display unit which is connected to the router through the internet.
The socket which is connected to the all appliances consists of a microcontroller, voltage sensor, current sensor, real time clock and a RF modem.
The socket is able to sense voltage and current and it sends the information to the intelligent device about the consumption of energy and the range is limited to 30 meters. The user talks to this device through mic and listens the reply through the speaker. The power supply is connected to the computing unit, data storage and RF modem.
Best Method of working:
Fig.1 shows the block diagram of Artificial Intelligence based Home energy monitoring system. All appliances send signals to the intelligent edge device with the display unit which is connected to the router through the internet.
The socket which is connected to the all appliances consists of a microcontroller, voltage sensor, current sensor, real time clock and a RF modem as shown in figure 2. This socket is able to sense voltage and current and it sends the information to the intelligent device about the consumption of energy and the range is limited to 30 metres.
Fig.3 shows the block diagram of a Intelligent edge device which consists of a computing unit, power supply, RF modem, data storage, computing stick, mic and a speaker. We can talk to this device through mic and we can listen the reply through the speaker. The power supply is connected to the computing unit, data storage and RF modem as shown in figure 3.
ADVANTAGES OF THE INVENTION:
(i) The current invention is helpful for saving energy consumption.
(ii) The current invention is able to display amount energy consumed.
(iii) The proposed invention uses artificial intelligence which is helpful for communicating with the intelligent edge device.
Novel Features of the Invention
1. Energy can be saved through the proposed invention.
2. We can get access for consumption of energy on daily basis.
3. The use of artificial intelligence in our invention is very helpful to avoid the wastage of energy.

An artificial intelligence-based home energy monitoring system comprises Intelligent Edge Device (105), Display Board (106), and Router (107), Micro Controller (201), RF Modem (301), Computing Unit (302) Current Sensor (203), Voltage Sensor (204), Real time Clock (205), and Power Supply (303), Data Storage (304), Speaker (305), Mic (306), and Computing Stick (307).
2. The system as claimed in claim 1, wherein all appliances send signals to the intelligent edge device with the display unit which is connected to the router through the internet.
3. The system as claimed in claim 1, wherein the socket which is connected to the all appliances consists of a microcontroller, voltage sensor, current sensor, real time clock and a RF modem.
4. The system as claimed in claim 1, wherein said socket is able to sense voltage and current and it sends the information to the intelligent device about the consumption of energy and the range is limited to 30 meters.
5. The system as claimed in claim 1, wherein user talks to this device through mic and listens the reply through the speaker.
6. The system as claimed in claim 1, wherein the power supply is connected to the computing unit, data storage and RF modem.
