Artificial Intelligence Based Smart Bus Tracking And Bus Stop Alert System For Passengers

Abstract: The buzzwords in the sense of transport have been "intelligent" and "sustainable" in recent works on the Internet of Vehicles (IoV). It is always a challenge to get to know the destination of a passenger while travelling inside the new city. In order to resolve this type of problem by implementing intelligent bus stop alerts for passengers, at the same time to display the automatic upcoming location (bus stop) on the LCD screen. The system also includes a display which is designed for the bus stops showing the arriving bus name along with its destination and the time in which the bus reaches that particular stop. This system can be used to reduce the workload of the bus conductors and to avoid the bus driver distraction. 4 claims & 1 Figure

1. A system/method for bus tracking and bus stop alert using artificial intelligence, said system/method comprising the steps of:
a) The system starts controller inside the bus (1), then the based on the location of the bus, we have display (2) and speaker to announce the upcoming bus stop.
b) The same type of controller on the bus stops (4), from that the people will let know about the upcoming/next bus arrival information (5).
2. As mentioned in claim 1, the invented system starts with bus controller, it has the power supply, GPS location of the bus.
3. According to claim 1, based on the GPS location of the Bus, the upcoming and current place information will be displayed on the display, which is placed inside the bus as well the same information will announced via speaker also.

Field of Invention
The present invention is relates to a system and method for vehicle tracking along with bus stop alert system using artificial intelligence techniques.
The Objectives of this Invention
The invention's major goal is to help humans those who are travel from one states to another states. They are not all know, which buses have to take and which bus stop have to step down. This problem is solved by this invention.
Background of the Invention
In recent years, every human have issue to travel one states/country to other country/states because of language and location/stopping. First, type of technique has been introduced in (CN2016/106297288B), to deliver a one-of-a-kind, highly effective modified bus passenger flow data acquisition and analysis technique. Another type of application proposed in (US2014/911200B2), they have disclosed methods and systems for a Personal Assistance Safety System. Another method was proposed in (US2010/10572704B2), object identification data is collected from a plurality of items that engage with a vehicle when the vehicle is in operation, where the vehicle interacts with specific objects at specific geographical locations. A unique object is fitted with an identification sensor before being transported to a designated place.
The (Vijetha et al [2016], International Journal of Engineering and Technical Research (IJETR), Vol.5, No.1, pp- 2454-4698) proposed an automated bus stop alert system using GPS to compute the real-time location of the bus, and the location would be compared with the stop location at the same time and displays and announces the bus stop accordingly on LCD and voice Module.
The (Lavanya et al [2013], Conference: Circuits, Power and Computing Technologies (ICCPCT), 1-5) suggested an easy navigation for blind to alert the upcoming bus stops. Multilingual signs, guide canes, and echolocations all seem to be helpful in guiding physically disabled individuals to ones destinations, however the fundamental goal isn't really met when they are unable to re-join congestion. We suggest a public transport system based on zigbee networking throughout this research (WSNs).
The (Swapnil et al [2015], International Journal of Scientific and Research Publications, Vol.5, No.12) proposed a GPS-based automated bus stop notification scheme is the subject of the functional description. A Transmitter, memory, an FPGA controller device, and an audio announcing devices are all component of the system.
Summary of the Invention
The system will be helpful for the passengers with visual or hearing impairments. People who are illiterate, who are new to the city are also benefited. This invention also helps the drivers from distractions and reduces the conductors work. Display in the bus stop helps the people to know about the upcoming buses.
Detailed Description of the Invention
The proposed invention consists of two units, Bus unit and Bus stop unit. Bus unit system is to alert the passenger through display and speakers about the upcoming stops. Bus stop unit system is to display the arriving bus name and its destination along with the time in which the bus reaches the particular stop which helps the people waiting for the bus.
Bus unit system consists of an Arduino UNO (Micro controller), GPS transceiver, LCD display, Speaker and Battery. GPS used to find the current location and to send the location information to the receiver. Audio output module (speaker) mainly in charge of stop announcement. LCD is used for displaying the stop names. Bus stop unit consists of a microcontroller (Arduino UNO), GPS receiver, LCD display and Battery. GPS transceiver sends the location name (location of the bus) to the GPS receiver which is fitted in the bus stop which will be passed to the Arduino. Display in the bus stop is used to print the upcoming bus name along with the destination of the bus and the time it takes to reach the bus stop.
The system that is implemented inside the bus will automatically announce the location name whenever the bus reaches the stop. The GPS connected in the bus unit system captures the current location of the bus and the location name will be compared with the names stored in the memory. If the current location name matches with the location name stored in the memory then the system will announce the location name through speakers and display at the same time. GPS transceiver shares the location information to the GPS receiver in the system that is implemented in the bus stops. The announcement is done before 100 meters for every stop. All these processes are done automatically without manpower. The bus stop unit system will alert the people who are waiting for the bus in the bus stop about the arriving bus through the display. Whenever the receiver in the bus stop unit system receives information from an arriving bus, the display shows the arriving bus name along with its destination and the time at which the bus reaches the particular stop. This system will reduce the confusion of the people regarding the arrival of the bus in the bus stop. RF communications is used to identify the impaired individual in the bus terminal. The blind communicates his demands via the microphones, which would be sent into the voice recognition system that also generates bus information in the speech synthesized unit that is delivered thru the headsets. The geolocation would then be communicated to the bus's transponder. Unless the identities throughout the buses communicator matching the identities being sent by blindfolded, an alarm is activated in the bus unit, indication of the presence of a mentally deficient as well as a voiceover is broadcast to a recipient's headphones that perhaps the buses had arrived. The destinations picked by the deaf is informed whenever the bus arrives at the right orientation thanks to a GPS device with audio source.
