Abstract: An AI system 100 for on-demand personalized social styling is disclosed. The AI system 100 includes an image processing module 105 for capturing a selfie by the user and processing the same. The AI system 100 includes an AI engine 110 to determine need for styling based on context of the user, to recommend styles, to create an avatar or digital twin to try new styles, and to recommend products. The AI system 100 includes a graphical user interface (GUI) 115 for selecting a styling service and for displaying a plurality of stylists based on styling need, dynamic pricing, location, seat availability in a salon, rating of the stylists, and rating of the salons. The AI system 100 includes a social media integration module 120, wherein the user can save, display, and share one’s own selfie, icon’s images, virtual try-ons, style recommendations or any such content onto social media.

DESC:FIELD OF THE INVENTION
[001] The present disclosure generally relates to artificial intelligence (AI) based systems and more particularly to an AI based system for on-demand personalized social styling.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
[002] Personalized styling and grooming is a growing industry. There are many applications that provide online styling and grooming services to a user. For example, there are online applications where a user can try a new hair style. Further, there are online beauty-salon/beauty-service applications available to a user. For example, there are online beauty service providers where a user can book online for a beauty styling service to be provided at the comfort of the user’s home.
[003] However, there is no system or application available for understanding the need for styling of a user based on user’s context, experimenting with real styles and makeover on oneself, contacting a salon or stylist who will be able to fulfil that new style, and, getting personalized recommendations of hair, skin, and beauty products, all happening on-demand and in real-time. Further, there does not exist a styling focused social network where one can showcase about their new hairdo, tattoo, or lip colour.

BRIEF SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
[004] This summary is provided to introduce a selection of concepts in a simple manner that is further described in the detailed description of the disclosure. This summary is not intended to identify key or essential inventive concepts of the subject matter nor is it intended for determining the scope of the disclosure.
[005] The present disclosure discloses an AI based system for on-demand personalized recommendations of styling to users and then connect users to matching salons and stylists. The users can try various hairdo, lip colours and try out various brands. The AI based system creates a mirror image of the user, also referred to as digital twin or digital avatar, and allows the user to try out various styles on the digital twin or avatar.
[006] An objective of the present disclosure is to provide a styling focused social network where one can showcase about their new hairdo, tattoo, or lip colour.
[007] An AI system for on-demand personalized social styling is disclosed. The AI system comprises an image processing module for capturing a selfie by a user is disclosed. The AI system includes an AI engine. The AI engine is configured to generate a digital twin of the user, create one or more avatars of the user based on various styles, receive feedback from a plurality of entities about the created one or more avatars, select an appropriate style for the digital twin based on one or more feedback or inputs provided by user, and match a suitable stylist to cater to the selected style.
[008] A method for on-demand personalized social styling is disclosed. The method includes capturing at least one of a selfie or a video of a user, generating a digital twin of the user by the AI system, creating one or more avatars of the user based on various styles by the AI system, receiving feedback from a plurality of entities about the created one or more avatars, selecting an appropriate style for the digital twin based on one or more feedback or inputs provided by user, and matching a suitable stylist to cater to the selected style.
[009] To further clarify advantages and features of the present disclosure, a more particular description of the disclosure will be rendered by reference to specific embodiments thereof, which is illustrated in the appended figures. It is to be appreciated that these figures depict only typical embodiments of the disclosure and are therefore not to be considered limiting of its scope. The disclosure will be described and explained with additional specificity and detail with the accompanying figures.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

It will nevertheless be understood that no limitation of the scope of the invention is thereby intended, such alterations and further modifications in the illustrated system, and such further applications of the principles of the invention as illustrated therein being contemplated as would normally occur to one skilled in the art to which the invention relates.

[0013] FIGURE. 1 illustrates an AI system 100 for on-demand personalized social styling, in accordance with an embodiment of the present disclosure. The AI system 100 includes an image processing module 105 for capturing a selfie or a video by the user and processing the same.
[0014] The AI system 100 includes an AI engine 110 to determine need for styling based on captured image or video, wherein need for styling comprises one of need for grooming or need for re-styling, wherein need for styling is determined by comparing historical selfies/videos, captured aspirations, and user profile information. User’s selfie is captured using a smartphone and app which is sent to its AI/ML engine either hosted within the app or hosted on a cloud server within or outside the overall backend subsystem of the AI system.
[0015] The AI engine 110 detects and/or deduces user information by understanding the context of the user. The context of the user includes, but is not limited to, location of the user, age, gender, mood, emotions, facial, hair and skin attributes. The AI engine 110 creates a metaprofile of the user using the information. The AI engine 110 profiles the user based on the current data collected as well as historical data of the user. The historical data includes, but is not limited to, interest of the user in a specific product, the frequency of visits to a particular salon or stylist, the style interest of the user, the affordability factor of the user, and screen time of the user.
[0016] The AI engine 110 creates an avatar or digital twin of the captured image having both visual and non-visual information, using the captured metaprofile. The user is also provided options for alternate avatar or digital twin creation, like to toonify (face transformation) the user or letting the user provide own artwork or visual representation. These avatars can be switched dynamically, based on mood, sense of swag, events, etc. Various avatars may mean different things for the user at different times. Avatars are how other users on the platform would usually know the user in context.
[0017] Further, the AI engine 110 generates various styles over a digital twin of the captured image, wherein generating styles is based on both image data and style aspirations of the user.
[0018] The AI engine 110 will use the user profile, metaprofile and/or avatar information to suggest new styling options personalized to the user. That may be through a filter or an overlay on the user’s 2D/3D image or video capture. It will also be through styles generated freshly on the user’s avatar, either as a toon/character or through life-like image or video rendering of the user as illustrated in FIGURE 2. The AI engine 110 then captures information about which styles the user tends to like, which celebrity icons the user likes and helps narrow down the choices. Once a user shares his/her favorite icon(s), the AI engine 110 through a combination of AI/ML algorithms allows the user to overlay the icon’s styling, makeup, tattoo or certain facial or skin attributes onto his/her own photo, video, or avatar.
[0019] The AI engine 110 calculates dynamic pricing of styling service based on styling need, location of the user, seat availability in a salon, rating of the stylists, and rating of the salons. Based on a multitude of factors including, but not limited to, user profile information, style choices, geolocation, face/hair/skin analyses and diagnosis, connections and influence points, the AI engine 110 will match the user to the apt set of style providers - including, but not limited to - salons, stylists, products, brands, DIY solutions and tips as illustrated in FIGURE 3.
[0020] The AI engine 110 will also position the right style, products, brands, content, etc. as target advertisements. The AI engine 110 will dispatch a booking to matched style providers based on various factors as mentioned above, with additional information such as, but not limited to, the style chosen, time and urgency of appointment, and dynamic pricing.
[0021] The AI system 100 includes a graphical user interface (GUI) 115 for selecting a styling service and for displaying a plurality of stylists based on styling need, dynamic pricing, location of the user, seat availability in a salon, rating of the stylists, and rating of the salons.
[0022] The graphical user interface (GUI) 115 displays suitable hair, skin, and beauty products. Further, the GUI 115 displays means to purchase these products through e-commerce or through offline partners. Once the product is purchased, the GUI 115 displays tools to apply and use these products, which is aimed at enhancing the beauty of the user or repairing certain hair/skin conditions as diagnosed by the AI engine 110, or as shared by the user.
[0023] In one embodiment, the AI engine 110 understands the user requirement, and recommends relevant products. The user, then selects a suitable product, purchases the product, and gets instructions on how to apply the product, whereby the AI system 100 allows the user to try the product in a do-it-yourself (DIY) manner. In another embodiment, when the user selects a product, the AI engine 110 enables the user to engage with social media influencers who will explain how to use the product.
[0024] The AI system 100 includes a social media integration module 120. Using the social media integration module 120, the user can save, display, and share one’s own selfie, icon’s images, virtual try-ons, style recommendations or any such content (interchangeably referred to as wall item) on one’s own Style Wall, a private plus public repository of wall items in the AI system 100, as depicted in FIGURE 4.
[0025] The user can get social feedback through likes, upvotes, comments or any means of engagement with other uses of the platform. The user can also promote himself/herself, and/or review/promote brands, products, or any relevant entities through styling social network in a way upholding his/her and others’ right to privacy and in a manner which is mutually beneficial to all stakeholders of the network. There will be ways for content creators and influencers to monetize their contribution into the social network.
[0026] The AI engine 110 of the present disclosure has the following features: It captures the context of the user and understands the requirement of the user. It recommends various styles and allows the user to try new styles by creating a digital avatar or twin of the user. Further, it connects the user to a preferred salon or stylist. Furthermore, it recommends various products based on the requirement of the user. The AI system 100 allows the user to connect and engage with influencers and other users based on style interests, and also to showcase new styles in the social network.
[0027] In one embodiment, the AI system 100 for on-demand personalized social styling includes an image processing module 105 for capturing a selfie by a user. The image captured can be from a selfie or a video. The AI system 100 provides an on-demand styling platform. The user can avail styling services and recommendations on demand using the captured selfie.
[0028] The AI engine 110 is configured to generate a digital twin of the user based on the captured image. Generating digital twin includes creating a metaprofile of the user. The metaprofile comprises both visual and non-visual information of the user. The digital twin of the captured image is created based on the metaprofile.
[0029] The AI engine 110 is configured to create one or more avatars of the user based on various styles provided by the AI system 100 or a plurality of entities. The plurality of entities include, but is not limited to friends, family members, movie stars, celebrities, popular icons, social medial users, stylists, beauty experts, and social media influencers. Creating the one or more avatars include determining need for styling based on the captured image. The need for styling includes one of need for grooming or need for re-styling, wherein need for styling is determined by comparing historical selfies and videos, user aspirations, and user information. Further, creating one or more avatars include identifying user information by learning context of the user. The context of the user include but is not limited to location of the user, age, gender, mood, emotion, occasions, events, facial, hair and skin attributes. Examples of occasion or events can be but not limited to a marriage function, a birthday party, or a wedding anniversary.
[0030] The AI system 100 comprises a social media integration module 120. The social media integration module 120 is configured to generate avatars from social media. The AI system 100 provides the user with avatars generated from social media. The social media integration module 120 enables the user to populate or share the one or more avatars created or modified by the user on to the social media. The social media integration module 120 is configured to receive feedback from social media users. User are provided with options to choose avatars picked from social media and to populate the created or modified avatars back to social media to receive feedback, thereby making the AI system 100 an interactive styling focused social networking platform. The styling focused social networking platform allows the user to showcase about their new makeover, including but not limited to hairdo, tattoo, or lip colour. The feedback is given to the user and can be about the avatars, or about the style, or about the stylist, the pricing etc. Feedback can be provided by way of text or emojis or audio or video feedback.
[0031] The AI engine 110 is configured to select an appropriate style for the digital twin based on one or more feedback or inputs provided by user and match a suitable stylist to cater to the selected style. The AI system 100 includes a GUI 115 to connect the user to at least one of a salon, a suitable stylist, a tattoo artist, and an artist rendering makeover services. The salon can be a beauty salon or tattoo salon. Artists rendering makeover services include but is not limited to beauticians, bridal makeup artists, flower decoration artists, dress designers, jewelry, and ornament designers.
[0032] The AI engine 110 calculates dynamic pricing of styling service based on styling need, location of the user, stylist availability, seat availability in a salon, rating of the stylists, and rating of the salons. In one embodiment, the AI system 100 enables the user to book stylists to render services at home based on the stylist availability.
[0033] The AI engine 110 is also configured to provide targeted advertisements of products and brands based on selfies, digital twins, or the selected style.

[0036] At step 510, the method includes capturing at least one of a selfie or a video of a user. Once the selfie or the video is captured an AI system extracts features of the user from the image.

The metaprofile comprises both visual and non-visual information of the user. The method includes creating the digital twin of the captured image based on the metaprofile.

The style can come from the library in the AI system. The style can also come from social media, through a hyper influencer. The plurality of entities include, but is not limited to friends, family members, movie stars, celebrities, popular icons, social medial users, stylists, beauty experts, and social media influencers.

The context of the user includes at least one of location of the user, age, gender, mood, emotion, occasions, and events, facial, hair and skin attributes.

1. An AI system 100 for on-demand personalized social styling, the AI system 100 comprising:
an image processing module 105 for capturing a selfie by a user;
an AI engine 110 configured to:
generate a digital twin of the user;
create one or more avatars of the user based on various styles provided by at least one of the AI system 100 and a plurality of entities;
receive feedback about the created one or more avatars from one or more of the plurality of entities;
select an appropriate style for the digital twin based on one or more feedback or inputs provided by user; and
match a suitable stylist to cater to the selected style.

2. The AI system 100 as claimed in claim 1, wherein generating digital twin comprises:
creating a metaprofile of the user, wherein the metaprofile comprises both visual and non-visual information of the user; and
creating the digital twin based on the metaprofile.

3. The AI system 100 as claimed in claim 1, wherein creating one or more avatars comprises:
determining need for styling based on captured image; and
identifying user information by learning context of the user, wherein context of the user comprises at least one of location of the user, age, gender, mood, emotion, occasions, events, facial, hair and skin attributes.

4. The AI system 100 as claimed in claim 1, wherein the plurality of entities comprise friends, family members, movie stars, celebrities, popular icons, social medial users, stylists, beauty experts, and social media influencers.

5. The AI system 100 as claimed in claim 1, wherein the AI system 100 comprises a GUI 115 to connect the user to at least one of a salon, a suitable stylist, a tattoo artist, and an artist rendering makeover services.

6. The AI system 100 as claimed in claim 1, wherein the AI system 100 comprises a social media integration module 120 to:
to generate avatars from social media;
populate the one or more avatars on social media; and
to receive feedback from social media users.

The AI system 100 as claimed in claim 1, wherein the AI engine 110 is configured to determine need for styling, wherein need for styling comprises one of need for grooming or need for re-styling, wherein need for styling is determined by comparing historical selfies and videos, aspirations, and the user information.

8. The AI system 100 as claimed in claim 1, wherein the AI engine 110 calculates dynamic pricing of styling service based on styling need, location of the user, seat availability in a salon, stylist availability (can bring home), rating of the stylists, and rating of the salons.

9. The AI system 100 as claimed in claim 1, wherein the AI engine 110 provides targeted advertisements of products and brands based on selfies, digital twins, and the selected style.

10. A method for on-demand personalized social styling, the method comprising:
capturing at least one of a selfie or a video of a user;
generating a digital twin of the user by the AI system;
creating one or more avatars of the user based on various styles provided by at least one of the AI system 100 and a plurality of entities;
receiving feedback about the created one or more avatars from one or more of the plurality of entities;
selecting an appropriate style for the digital twin based on one or more feedback or
inputs provided by user; and
matching a suitable stylist to cater to the selected style.

11. The method as claimed in claim 10, wherein generating digital twin comprises:
creating a metaprofile of the user, wherein the metaprofile comprises both visual and non-visual information of the user; and
creating the digital twin based on the metaprofile.

12. The method as claimed in claim 10, wherein creating one or more avatars comprises:
determining need for styling based on captured image; and
identifying user information by learning context of the user, wherein context of the user comprises at least one of location of the user, age, gender, mood, emotion, occasions, events, facial, hair and skin attributes.
