, Description:TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
This invention is related to designing of artificial intelligence program for growing tomatoes in greenhouse with proper control over the various parameters which affects the growth of tomatoes.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
About 95% of plants, either food crops or cash crops are grown in open field. Since time immemorial, man has learnt how to grow plants under natural environmental conditions.
It is difficult to monitor the agricultural field condition on daily basis by humans, in today's world. It is necessary to improve the precision with which agricultural operations are managed in today's world.
Vegetables which are grown in local climate condition may affected by various parameters such as temperature, humidity, supply of nutrients, supply of fertilizers, supply of pesticides. If it is in proper ratio then quality of vegetables is good. But this is not in control in local climate as temperature, humidity depends on nature. And due to this production and quality may affect. This is same happened with tomatoes.
To avoid this issues greenhouse cultivation is good option.
Greenhouses have existed for more than one and a half centuries in various parts of the world, in India use of greenhouse technology started only during 1980’s and it was mainly used for research activities. This may be because of our emphasis, so far had been on achieving self-sufficiency in food grain production.
Greenhouse is the controlled temperature region for the growth of plant. The presented invention is the artificial intelligence program for growing tomatoes in greenhouse solved all these issues and improve quality of tomatoes.
OBJECTS OF THE INVENTION
The main object of the invention is designing of artificial intelligence program for growing tomatoes in greenhouse.
Another object is to allow growing of exotic vegetables which are not usually grown in local climatic condition.
Another object is that, having proper control over various parameters which can affect growth of tomatoes by using artificial intelligence program.
Another object is that, by using sensors such as pressure sensor and temperature sensor and cameras it monitors tomatoes growth in greenhouse.
Other object of the invention is that by using computers and other programs it can handled growing of tomatoes remotely.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
The presented invention is the artificial intelligence program and system which helps to grow the tomatoes in Greenhouse. The presented invention takes inputs such as crop requirement, nutrition requirement, water requirement, pesticide requirement, herbicide requirement and environment related to sunlight. This artificial intelligence program controls the parameters which affects the growth of tomatoes such as temperature, humidity, supply of nutrients, supply of fertilizers, supply of pesticides. This invention uses sensors like pressure sensor, temperature sensor and cameras for monitoring. And it controls the processes such as distribution of nutrients, use of foggers and air handling unit by programs and computer. It can handle all these processes remotely too.
BRIEF DESCRIPTIONS OF DRAWINGS
Fig 1 shows flowchart of the method and computer program for this invention.
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
Greenhouse farming allows growing of exotic vegetables which are not usually grown in local climatic condition. In greenhouse environment, there is proper control over the various parameters which can affect plant growth. The parameters such as temperature, humidity, supply of nutrients, supply of fertilizers, supply of pesticides.
Now in modern greenhouses distributes nutrients through drip irrigation system which is mounted on the roof of greenhouses. This system controlled by computers. And program can be handled remotely.
The artificial intelligence program has the set of information about crop requirement, nutrition requirement, pesticide requirement, herbicide requirement and environment related to sunlight.
The presented invention is the artificial intelligence program for growing tomatoes in greenhouse. For this firstly this algorithm will have to provide input about crop which is going to be cultivated in greenhouse. The inputs such as;
Crop database – The all information about crop is stored in this database.
Nutrition database – The all information about nutrition required for particular selected crop for cultivation is stored in database.
Pesticide database – The all information about pesticide required for particular selected crop for cultivation is stored in database.
Herbicide database - The all information about herbicide required for particular selected crop for cultivation is stored in database.
Environment database - The all information about environment required for particular selected crop for cultivation is stored in database.
Then sensors like pressure sensor, temperature sensor and cameras are installed at greenhouse for monitoring the growth of tomatoes.
By getting data from sensors it will provide needed nutrition to crop through drip irrigation system. And also, as per getting data from temperature and pressure sensors it will provide foggers and activate air handling unit.
All these processes handled by artificial intelligence program which is presented here with use of computers and machines maybe physically or remotely.
