Assembly For Preventing Water Entry Inside An Air Inlet Of An Air Cleaner Of Vehicle
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to an assembly (200) for preventing water entry inside an inlet of an air cleaner (202) of a vehicle having an engine under a driver seat. A bracket (206) mounted in between the frame reinforcement panel (204) and the inlet of the air cleaner (202) while being welded from a top surface of the air suction region. The bracket (206) has a top surface (206-U) and a vertical surface (206-V) extending perpendicularly downward from the top surface (206-U), wherein the top surface (206-U) has a recess surface (208) to strengthen the bracket (206) to avoid bending, and wherein the vertical surface (206-V) diverts the flow of the water droplets towards the water drain channel.
