Description:
TECHNICAL FIELD
[0001] The present disclosure relates generally to field of medical device. More particularly, the present disclosure provides an assembly for veterinary surgery for entities like rodents, mole rat, rodents, cats, dogs, and the likes.

BACKGROUND
[0002] Background description includes information that may be useful in understanding the present invention. It is not an admission that any of the information provided herein is prior art or relevant to the presently claimed invention, or that any publication specifically or implicitly referenced is prior art.
[0003] Experimental models of rodents plays an important role for getting essential information in testing of various drugs and biological functions in relation to human body but on other hand in rodent surgical procedure and experimentation there are many complications which creates hurdle in surgical procedure and influence surgery at high rate. Reason of complication is drug induced, suturing, problems related to vital organs and blood loss etc. In suturing, stapling can cause cancer due to presence of metal ions (cancer like malignant disease) and sutures causes’ bacterial infection and allergy at the suturing site. Drug induced complications like administration of overdose anesthesia which leads to toxicity in animal and further produces respiratory depression, liver toxicity and cardiac related problems. Some of anesthesia is concerned with serious adverse effects like hypotension; hypothermia and hypoventilation in rodents and to avoid the same complications use the anesthesia in proper concentration. Moreover, non steroidal anti- inflammatory drugs (NSAIDS) also produces some side effects during rodent surgery like ulceration, impairment of platelet aggregation, nephrotoxicity and liver toxicity. In concern with vital organ surgery such as liver, heart kidney, the use of anesthesia also causes reduction of salt and water excretion from kidneys. In various organ surgeries concerned with heart, liver, kidney and after the surgery there are also a lot of complications which creates hurdle in further health recovery procedures but on same side these problems can be minimized by taking the precautions in very good manner.
[0004] Some of the precautions that can be taken includes use of steel wire suture might cause cancer at the site of suture so try to avoid the use of the same. The suture material should be kept in aseptic area and the suturing equipment should be cleaned and decontaminated with proper sanitization. Major precaution in liver surgery were recommended that the equipment’s and surgical operators like surgical blades, surgical sutures, surgical scissors and needles should be sterilized and always use the saline solution before exposing the liver for bile duct ligation, knot forming should not be more tight because it can puncture or damage the duct. Apart from precautions, some of ideal measures taken during surgery includes sterile area maintenance, proper techniques for handling the tissue, warmth maintenance and prevention from thermal injury, pre and post-operative surgical planning for rodent experimentation, proper selection of the platform, proper trimming of hair before surgery, proper cleaning or scrubbing of surgical site, draping at surgical site, and post-surgical planning.
[0005] It is desirable to elevate the animal being treated to enable veterinarian or surgeon to work in an upright position rather than kneeling or crouching to treat the animal on the floor. Existing solution can lack features which help to overcome above mentioned problems. A actuating means to operate platform of devices for veterinary surgery can include a handle which increases chances of infection and can cause transmission of contagious diseases, therefore, by introducing a feature that eliminate the chances of spreading infection and also the surgeon can operate the platform at desired angle even when both hands are engaged.
[0006] The present solution solves the above challenges with features which facilitates in taking maximum ideal measures to avoid complications during veterinary surgery. The present solution is also economical, efficient and covers maximum features required to avoid complications.
