Abstract: ASYMMETRIC MODULAR DC-DC CONVERTER SYSTEM AND METHOD OF OPERATION THEREOF The present disclosure discloses an asymmetric modular DC-DC converter system 100, and a method of operating the asymmetric modular DC-DC converter system 100. The proposed converter system 100 discloses a first converter module 103, a second converter module 104 and a control unit 105. The first converter module 103 is configured to operate a load at 90%-100% of its rated load and the second converter module 104 is configured to operate at 10%-100% of its rated load. Therefore, the handling load is divided between the two modules and system efficiency is increased during high load conditions and low load conditions). To be published with Abstract: FIG. 1
