FIELD OF THE INVENTION

The present invention relates to an 'Audio system arrangement in three-wheeler'. The current invention relates to an arrangement containing an audio system, speakers and control panel along with an input device, mounted on a vehicle.

DISCUSSION OF PRIOR ART

Normally any automobile vehicle will have provision for the "Music system player" and on the Dashboard panel. Music system player means" an electronic device" which has the inbuilt drive circuit for playing any one of the following modes, which has pre-recorded electronic data in terms of songs/speeches etc.

a. External audio compact disc

b. External devices through USB port/pen drive or any other equivalent means.

In installing such devices, it is necessary to keep high operability of those devices without impairing the robustness and the drivability of the vehicle per se. Protection of those devices from environmental conditions, to ensure the operation of the system with all vehicle running conditions like vibration, electrical noises, mechanical shocks and no security against theft.

The main draw back of this system is mounting of the speakers, making speakers' water and dust proof, as water and dust entry to the speaker, which result in functionality failure of speaker resulting in high cost of replacement.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

Accordingly, it is an object of the present invention to provide an audio system arrangement in a three-wheeler overcoming the above problems.

It is a further object of the present invention to provide a music system located in the Transistor Controller Ignition System's (hereinafter referred to as 'TCI') cover .The main function of the TCI cover is to retain the ignition system parts in a dust/water proof location. In addition to the above said parts, now a "Music system/player" is included inside the TCI cover.

Music system integration on TVS King three Wheeler is designed as follows.

a. Music system player that is inbuilt in TCI is kept inside the TCI Cover.
b. The external input socket and the control panel will be kept on the Dash board.
The external input socket includes USB port or Pen drive equivalent also in addition
to other devices (Eg: Micro SD card etc).
c. Power input.
d. Wiring harness for music system is a part, which connect all the other interfacing
components in the system.

DETADLED DESCRD7TION OF PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS

Any known 3 wheeler, as illustrated in fig. 1, can be divided into three major portions, the front portion F, the middle portion M and the rear/tail portion R. The front portion F comprises of the steering 1, front wheel with necessary brakes 2, front suspension and fender 3, wind shield 4, wiping system 5, dash board with control switches 6, Head lamp and side indicator 7. The middle portion M comprises of the driver seat 8, footrest for the driver 9, Hand start link rod 10, "B" pillar 11, and "B" pillar partition wall 12. The rear/tail portion R comprises of engine assembly 13, petrol tank 14, rear wheel with suspension 15, cabin assembly 16, passenger seat 17, "C" pillar 18, rear combination lamp assembly (LH & RH) 19, silencer assembly 20.

The embodiment of the present invention will now be described with reference to Fig. 2 to Fig 5.

In Fig 2 the TCI box 22 is mounted on the cabin assembly 21. Inside the TCI box audio driver circuit, which is inbuilt in TCI (23) is housed. Inside the TCI box 22, Regulator Rectifier (RR) unit 24 is mounted. The TCI box is 22 is mounted between Air filter assembly 25 and fuel tank assembly 26. In Fig 3 the USB port 28 is mounted on the dashboard assembly 27. In dashboard two housing 29 and 30 provided to mount the speaker .The mountings are located above the USB port. The control panel for the music system is placed in the dashboard, preferably in the place indicated by reference numeral 32.

Fig.5 illustrates the placement of the TCI with Inbuilt audio circuit 23 above the ignition coil 31 and RR unit 24.

We Claim:

1. An audio system arrangement for a three-wheeler comprising an audio driver circuit inbuilt in the transistor controlled ignition system cover, an external input socket, two housing to mount the speakers and necessary power connection, the input socket and speakers being connected to the audio system through suitable wiring harness.

2. An integrated audio system arrangement as claimed in claim 1, wherein the said external input socket is placed on the dashboard of the said three-wheeler.

3. A wiring harness system arrangement for a three wheeler wherein the said wiring harness includes the wiring involved in the said integrated audio system arrangement as claimed in claim 1.

4. A three-wheeler including an audio system arrangement comprising an audio driver circuit inbuilt in the transistor controlled ignition system, an external input socket, two housing to mount the speakers and necessary power connection, the input socket and speakers being connected to the audio system through suitable wiring harness.
