Abstract: The earlier Milking and Analysis Equipment was having a feature of performing fixed type analysis of ARINC-429 parameters. The present limitation is overcome by implementation of Configurable field of ARINC-429 in Dynamic Data File analysis tool of ARINC-429 Parameters.
FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The field of this invention is creation of new tool or can be put as a new
feature/improvement in existing Milking and Analysis Equipment for analysis of ARINC‐429
parameters from Configurable Dynamic Data file.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The analysis procedure of ARINC‐429 parameters in existing Milking and Analysis is put in
hard coded form which cannot be readily modified. The analysis procedure of ARINC‐429
parameters is different for different aircraft platform and also become different with
increment / decrement of ARINC‐429 parameters in same aircraft platform. So customer
demands of new tool or new feature in existing Milking and Analysis Equipment as given
below
1) The Milking and Analysis Equipment can configure for addition / removal / edit of
Analysis Dynamic Data file of any type of ARINC‐429 parameters.
2) The Analysis Dynamic Data file will be password protected and can be edited through
Administrator of Milking and Analysis Equipment.
3) The editing / modifying of Analysis Dynamic Data file should be available on window of
Milking and Analysis Equipment so user can easily perform the above mentioned
action.
SUMMARY OF PRESENT INVENTION
In accordance with one aspect of present invention, this new feature can be used in same
type of GUI with respect to present Milking and Analysis Equipment.
In accordance with second aspect of present invention, a new analysis tool or the existing
Milking and Analysis Equipment have a feature of viewing / addition/ removal of Analysis Dynamic
Data file with configuration control feature.
In accordance with another aspect of present invention, a new analysis tool or the existing
Milking and Analysis Equipment have a feature of seeing of Analysis Dynamic Data file in noneditable
report format.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS

Fig. 1 is a representation of creating of window for viewing / printing of ARINC‐429 Analysis
Dynamic Data file.
Fig. 2 is a description of procedure of accessing of ARINC‐429 Analysis Dynamic Data file.
Fig. 3 is a description of procedure of conversion of ARINC‐429 digital value to engineering
value.
DETAILED DESCRIPTION
Introduction:
ARINC 429 is the most commonly used data bus for commercial transport and military
aircraft. The ARINC‐429 conversion includes the conversion procedure for converting the
digital value of ARINC‐429 to engineering value of parameter under analysis. The Analysis
Dynamic Data File concept for conversion procedure of ARINC‐429 parameters is more
important because of following reason
The conversion procedure for ARINC‐429 parameters of one aircraft is varied from
other aircraft.
A highly precession is required for conversion of digital value of ARINC‐429 parameters
to engineering value.
The conversion dynamic data file should be visible to user and should be configuration
controllable.
Viewing and Report generation of conversion dynamic data file:
As per Fig 1, following steps explained below for creating of viewing and report generation
for conversion dynamic data file
1) Insert the resource dialog and add the list control resource through resource control
tip.
2) Added the feature of report generation and viewing in list control resource by changing
the properties of list control.
3) Added the feature corresponding source file in present Milking and Analysis equipment
for completion of step no 2.

4) Added the feature of easily printing of report in present Milking and Analysis
Equipment.
The above all steps will create the window for report view in non editable format.
Conversion dynamic Data File Access Procedure:
As per Fig 2 following steps explained below for generation of procedures for accessing of
data base file
1) Add the standard Operating System data base access control project in current for
accessing of data base calibration file.
2) Initialize the object instantiation of standard operating system data base access for
getting control of access of data base.
3) Call the opening function from object generated in above steps for opening of
calibration data base file.
4) Read the content the conversion dynamic Data File and saved into field of local
structure.
The above all steps will ready for providing input to procedure of conversion of digital value
to engineering value.
Digital to Engineering Value Conversion Procedure:
As per Fig 3 following steps explained below for procedures for conversion of digital value to
engineering value
1) Get the index for given digital value for in between digital value and engineering value.
2) Use these value to put in piecewise linear equation for getting engineering value of
given digital value.

We Claim that:
1. The Milking and analysis Equipment, comprising
- A computing device with atleast one display & one communication interface like Ethernet,
- A printing device for printing purposes,
- An ARINC429 auto configurable analysis tool &
- Respective Looms & Cables.
2. The system as per claim 1, capable of any conversion procedures of ARINC-429 parameters of atleast one type of aircraft representing atleast one parameter for analysis purpose.
3. The system as in claim 1, capable of editable / addition / removal of calibration procedure.
4. The system as in claim 1, wherein the analyses result is ported on easily readable formats. ,TagSPECI:As per Annexure-II
