Abstract: It is mother, who plays vital role in taking care of babies. Taking a baby to sleep is a tedious process. If it is not carried out in a proper way, then the whole family has to accompany with the baby for full night. At present, the cradle (or) swing is essential for the baby"s sleep. But it is such an enormous duty for the mothers. This paves a way for weakening of strength, increase in stress, depression for them. This brings chaos and unpleasant atmosphere at home, living of many family proved it right. The allergy of swinging the cradle is prevailing in most families, where both parents are employees. This injects the grievance between the couple. To bring a solution to these, a baby cradle is designed. This baby cradle is a typical model that resembles the traditional method of swing . This baby cradle operates electrically at low power. For the convenience of the parents, it can be operated by remote. Can be switched -off if not necessary. It consists of various features including speed variation, automatic sensing and can be operated manually too. In these ways, this cradle pleases the mothers. This device reduces the major part in the art of baby caring. And we hope that our model will bring a pleasant atmosphere and an adorable maternal-child and a family environment.
WORKING DESCRIPTION:
This typical baby cradle is set under the ceiling and works by excitation of the kinematic links by electric motor. This setup consists of a 2mm thick Mild steel plate , on which the electric motor and the kinematic links are drilled and fixed rigidly. The motor is set at the back of the plate and crank is placed at front, through the plate. The kinematic link is the assemble of 2cm xl5cm mild steel plate of 3mm thickness, with a nut, on a 16 mm diameter mild steel rod. These are paired firmly with nuts. The hook is welded around the nut for a proper hanging under the ceiling. A long "J" shaped mild steel rod is welded at the bottom of the 15cm long plate, on which the rope of the swing is to be hanged.
A bearing is fixed at the edge of the crank to avoid friction and noise. The links are fixed at some distance from crank, through the slot. It can be adjusted within the slot to vary the speed and oscillating length of the cradle. When the motor is switched on, the crank rotates and excites the kinematic links, which is fixed at one end and free at other end, so an oscillatory motion occurs and the crank works.
The speed of the motor can be varied by regulating the supply voltage. The working of this cradle (i.e.,) ON/OFF (only is initially) adjusted by are remote control, which is fixed along the cradle. In further tuning of this cradle, the speed regulation, oscillation control, ON/OFF by using sensors, timers, etc., will be controlled by a remote.
In future, the automatic speed control will/can be done either by regulating the supply voltage or by adjusting the gap between cradle and kinematic links by using remote. The oscillating length will be adjusted using motors. The weight sensors will be used to sense the weight and work automatically (i.e.,) when the baby is on cradle, the cradle works automatically and when baby is took out, the system shuts down automatically. The sound sensors, which genuinely senses the crying sound of baby and adjusts the cradle accordingly. The timer will also be fixed for the convenience of the user.
I CLAIM THAT INNOVATION OF
Claim 01: This "AUTO SWING CRADLE AT CEILING " is completely based on mechanical operation. In further, it can be operated through electrical, hydraulics and pneumatics systems.
Claim 02: This system is completely fixed on the ceiling and executes oscillatory motion. This can be fixed under any type of ceiling (fig :01).
Claim 03: The cradle can be controlled by remote. To execute various operations automatically sensors can be used. ( ON/OFF by using sensors, timers, etc., will be controlled by a remote).
Claim 04: The speed of the swing can be adjusted by remote{fig oi) In further (fig 02), the automatic speed control will/can be done either by regulating the supply voltage or by adjusting the gap between cradle and kinematic links by using remote ( Oscillating arc will be increased).
Claim 05: The operating time of this cradle is limited to 20-25 minutes and shuts down the system automatically. If required, it can be operated in further.
Claim 06: It can be operated manually during power cut. In our INNOVATION is completely economical and eco friendly.
