Autodisable Lancet
Abstract: The present invention deals with a 'single use' and an autoidisable lancet system -which would help in reducing cross contamination due to repeated and unsterile use of contaminated lancets .The advantage of the present invention include simple design ,ease in manufacture and cost effective product for mass use. The J shaped spring member, the 'single use arm'and the unique 'disabling means' encased slidingly in an inexpensive housing are the critical components of this improved 'single use1 lancet system.
