, Description:FIELD OF THE INVENTION

The present invention relates to an automated composting machine for decomposing organic waste into compost.

The present invention further relates to an automated composting machine for decomposing organic waste in compost and process of preparing compost thereof.

BACKGROUND AND PRIOR ART OF THE INVENTION

In recent years, attention has been focused on waste treatment and reduction of waste from the point of view of environmental protection does not depend on the incineration process and the like, of garbage and livestock manure, compost by the fermentation of organic waste, such as pruning debris. It turned into the process, or have been developed many organic waste processing apparatus for processing to weight loss by decomposition.
Compost is organic matter that has been decomposed and recycled as a fertilizer and soil amendment. Compost is a key ingredient in organic farming. At the simplest level, the process of composting simply requires making a heap of wetted organic matter known as green waste (leaves, food waste) and waiting for the materials to break down into humus after a period of weeks or months. Modern, methodical composting is a multi-step, closely monitored process with measured inputs of water, air, and carbon- and nitrogen-rich materials. The decomposition process is aided by shredding the plant matter, adding water and ensuring proper aeration by regularly turning the mixture. Worms and fungi further break up the material. Bacteria requiring oxygen to function (aerobic bacteria) and fungi manage the chemical process by converting the inputs into heat, carbon dioxide and ammonium. Compost is rich in nutrients. It is used in gardens, landscaping, horticulture, and agriculture.
Composting is the process of breaking down biodegradable material in to carbon dioxide, water, and biomass. Composting requires the proper environment, temperature, and microorganisms to break down the organic matter. Since much of the green house gases harming the environment come from landfills in the form of methane, home composting machines are an alternative to throwing kitchen scraps and yard clippings into landfills. Not only is this a way of decreasing pollution but composting machines leave homeowners with a ready supply of nutrient rich material to add to gardens and flower beds.
Environmental benefits of composting are many. Material otherwise destined for the landfill is cycled back into the environment in a way that reduces greenhouse gases. For each individual household, composting provides a ready source of nutrient rich material to add to gardens and flower beds, saving on fertilizer while producing healthier plants.
There are many conventional composting machines to convert the organic household waste into compost, but there are many downsides involved in them. Many times it becomes inconvenient to gather up all your kitchen waste and either put it in a compost pile or put it in a bin outside after every meal. Sometimes composting machines becomes dirty and smelly too depending on what materials you use.
The conventional methods are usually time consuming to properly manage the windrows to produce quality compost. Also, the equipments used in are too costly and expensive for maintaining.
JP2002274989 discloses a compost making system capable of rapidly making a large amount of fully ripe and nutrient-rich compost and treating the organic wastes having high water contents such as livestock dung or garbage, with higher efficiency. However, the system is very complicated in nature.

JP2002284593 discloses an organic waste treatment device, which is a device utilizing the fermenting and decomposing action by microbes, which can perform both composting treatment and volume reducing treatment.
None of the prior art discloses effective composting machine and convenient process of manufacturing the compost by using organic waste.

The present invention is directed to a simple and effective composting machine and procedure of preparing compost by organic waste.

The composting machine as described in Figure 1 comprises of a rectangular composting tank (100). A touch screen device is arranged at top of the composting tank for information processing to make the machine easy to operate automatically. The organic waste input door (101) is arranged at upper side of the composting tank. Air ventilation (102) is arranged at side parts of the composting tank. Exhaust outlet (103) for blowing the exhausted air is arranged at exterior upper side of the composting tank. Connection to drainage or water line (104) is also arranged at exterior lower side of the composting tank. Compost removal door (109) is arranged at outer lower side of the composting tank for removing compost from the tank manually. Further shovel is also provided for easy removing of compost from the tank.

A composting tank is internally comprises of an organic composting tank (105) with toughened and corrosion resistance stainless steel material. Rigid mixing blades (106) are arranged at lower side of the tank longitudinally with rotating wheels at each end. Heater (107) is embedded at bottom surface of the inner composting tank. Humidity Sensor (108) is arranged on left column inside the composting tank at bottom side inside of an electrical box.
