Abstract: An automated thermal management system is a well-equipped low-cost technology solution for the bike riders as it comes up with such cooling control system which might be very fruitful because the temperature of the seat automatically goes down while exceeding a specific temperature and provides comfort to the riders.
Description:As stated, to develop this thermal management system, we have used rexine covered bike seat under which a pipe is attached in a spiral structure. The coolant is used to pass through the pipe. A 12V DC Adapter is used for providing power input. A DHT11 temperature sensor is incorporated which is connected to the Arduino Nano. The +5V terminal is connected to Arduino +5V terminal and Ground terminal of the sensor is connected to the Arduino Ground terminal. The data/output pin of the sensor is fed to the Digital pin of Arduino. A 16x2 display and a Relay are also connected to Arduino microcontroller. A motor is connected to the pump. This device can also be powered by using a battery. In this set-up, the relay plays an important role as when the temperature will go above 40°C, it will turn the pump ON so that the coolant can pass through the seat in the spiral arrangement and it would be able to symmetrically cool down the seat very soon. The temperature value will also be displayed so that the users can be aware of the level of the temperature value to maintain their comfort as the comfort sense is subjective and changes from rider to rider. , Claims:We Claim:
