Automatic Body Temperature Sensing Gateway

Abstract: Our automated approach to the recent COVID19 problem will not only strictly follow the COVID19 health guidelines but also minimise the risk of infection due to improper temperature measurement. Our aim is to devise a system which when senses the palm of an individual placed at the proper location will measure the body temperature from their upper wrist, following which, it will accurately show the temperature on a digital screenwhich will determine whether the individual will be allowed or not. Using an Arduino based gateway systemthat will restrict the individuals from entering the premises (those having very high temperature, exceeding 38 deg C) and on the other hand will also allow individuals having permissible temperature. Following the gate, the individual will pass through a sanitization tunnel and that person will be completely sanitized.

Specification

Description:
All the components are connected with each other in the diagram. It is clearly visible that how the MLX90614 (temperature sensor) is connected to Arduino uno, where VCC is connected to +5v and GND to GND of Arduino Uno, the SCL is connected to A5 of the Arduino uno & the SDA is connected to the A4 pin of the Arduino uno. Now coming to the OLED display where the VCC is connected to the +5v , GND to GND and SCK pin to A5 and SDA pin to A4. Now coming to the ultrasonic sensor where we have used HC-SR04 sensor, where the Trig is connected to 9 pin of Arduino uno and Echo to pin 8 of Arduino Uno and VCC to 5v and GND to GND. Now coming to the relay where the signal pin of the relay is connected to pin 2 of Arduino uno and VCC to +5v and GND to GND of Arduino uno. Now coming to the connection of the motor where we have connected the negative terminal to the negative of the 12v 2Amp dc supply and the positive terminal is connected to the NO port of the relay and the positive terminal of the supply is connected to the common port of the relay module.

Claims:We Claim –
1. An automatic body temperature sensing gateway which opens the lever when the temperate is normal and in abnormal case the lever remains at its neutral position resulting in blocking the gate.
2. A method as claimed in claim 1, this device does not create any radio interference.
3. A method as claimed in claim 1, this device shows the actual temperature without any error.
4. A method as claimed in claim 1, this device can be powered by using a power supply of 5v or 12v.
5. A method as claimed in claim 1, this device will get damaged if the supply voltage is greater than 12v dc.
6. A method as claimed in claim 1, this device does not harm our body.
7. A method as claimed in claim 1, this device might create problem if exposed to water.
8. A method as claimed in claim 1, this device might create problem if exposed to fire.
9. A method as claimed in claim 1, this device is powered up by 2 12v adapters.
10. A method as claimed in claim 1, this device is safe to use.
