a. a tablet PC having a video display; and

a. watching a pre-loaded display showing all catalog of the products;

, Description:Field of the Invention:
The present invention relates generally to online purchase of wholesale products and, more particularly, to an automatic wholesale product ordering system and method within 5km area through online shopping website.
Background of the invention:
Sales representatives call retail businesses to sell the goods of the manufacturers that they have to bring printed materials and/or samples with them when they make a sales call to enable the retail businessman to pick the products desired. If the representative represents several manufacturers hundreds of products, it creates a lot of confusion and it is difficult to select the desired products.
Nowadays, maximum consumers are purchasing items on-line. Historically, if a consumer wanted to purchase, for example, clothing and auto parts on-line, the consumer either went to one website for the clothing and a different website for the auto parts, or to a single website selling both clothing and auto parts. However, these websites do not provide an integrated shopping experience since they refer the consumer to another website to purchase a specific item. In other words, these websites transfer the consumer to a different website that sells the particular items to the consumer who wishes to purchase, so that the consumer may then purchase the item on the transferee website. The consumer has to purchase the items on two separate websites in two separate transactions.
Therefore, there is a need for automated system and method which can eliminate the need for sales representative to carry printed materials showing their various represented products to potential customers for taking the order. The need is to provide a consolidated shopping website to order at least one item from at least one different merchant website on behalf of a consumer. The present system and method is an online automatic wholesale product ordering system and method within 5 km area through online wholesale shopping website. Thus a customer can purchase the various products needed for him/her and orders can taken online.
OBJECTS OF THE INVENTION:
The main object of the present invention is to purchase the various products needed for customer online.
Yet another object of the present invention is to provide an online wholesale product sales system and method within 5 km area through website.

Accordingly, an automatic online wholesale product ordering system and method is disclosed, which can be used by customer or sale representative. The method for presenting the data related to wholesale and retail shops for the users, where depending on the location of the user, the shopping search history of the user, the website automatically lists the shops which are in the range of 5 km to the user's pin location along with the address, contact info and location data of the shops. Through this information, user can do the purchasing of the products they want very easily. A web server showing all catalogues of the products of one or many manufacturer available for sale; a tablet PC having a video display; and a keypad; wherein the keypad is used by user/sales representative for watching display of the products.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION:
The present invention is an automatic online wholesale product ordering system and method which can be used by customer or sale representative. The method for presenting the data related to wholesale and retail shops for the users, where depending on the location of the user, the shopping search history of the user, the website automatically lists the shops which are in the range of 5 km to the user's pin location along with the address, contact info and location data of the shops. Through this information, user can do the purchasing of the products they want very easily.
In one embodiment, the system comprises a remote web server having products of one or many manufacturer for sale, a tablet PC having a video display and a keypad.
Sales representatives selects the products and includes images of photographs of the products, product identification number, price about the products in the database when needed for showing it on tablet PC to the businessman. The customers (businessman) can view the products and order the products according to their needs.
Simultaneously, the user can access the online website and order the products as per their requirement. A username and password is provided to user and he/she can access the website by using tablet PC and a recommended list of the products is also shown to the customers. The user can arrange the list of the preferred products as per drop down menu appearing on display. A preview of the ordered data can be seen by the user so that the client/user can check the order before placing. The system and method is arranged to provide a display of related products on the tablet PC display when a particular product is selected. The system and method is arranged to provide a copy of an order placed using the system and method to a client/user via email from the tablet. The system and method is arranged to be used with a GPS system and method to automatically determine the identity of the client/user. A bar code is used on each item which can be viewed with the help of bar code scanner.
The data contained in the database consists of product information for various manufacturers or vendors, e.g., furniture manufacturers, lamp manufacturers, artwork manufacturers, etc, various grocery products. When the user (the sales representative) inputs his/her log in and password into the system, that user's particular client database is presented to him/her on the iPad screen. In fact, that client list will be populated by the system and method based on the geographic location of the iPad as sensed by the GPS tracking feature of the iPad. Thus, if the representative is at store XYZ, that client (the retailer) will be at the top of the client list the sales representative can then select the desired client and the manufacturer of the products, e.g., lighting products, that he/she wants to show to the retailer.
The catalogue the products is updated from time to time by host of the web server. The products were displayed to those for which orders were entered and a particular product can be placed and selected in a favorites group for a client. Some selected discount is given according to the order placed by the client/user. Discount can be in the form of percentage or a monetary amount.
In one embodiment, the automatic online wholesale product ordering system used by customer or sale representative comprising of: a web server showing all catalogues of the products of one or many manufacturer available for sale; a tablet/ PC having a video display; and a keypad, wherein the keypad is used by user/sales representative for watching display of the products.
