Autonomous Mobile Robot With Independent Drive Wheel Traction And Suspension Mechanism

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to the field of mobile robotic vehicles (AMR) (100) wherein a chassis system of the same is disclosed. The AMR comprises a base frame (101), and a pair of suspended frames (102A,102B) that are configured below the base frame on a plurality of suspension mechanisms and swivel joints. The suspension mechanisms (103A, 103B;111A,111B) provide a see-saw action mechanism to the suspended frames. Furthermore, the AMR comprises a drive system that further comprises two differential drive wheels (107A,107B), and four caster-wheels (106A,106B;109A,109B). The AMR also comprises different types of attachments such as clamps, joints, trays, and connectors. The drive wheel-motor assembly is centrally placed and connected to the suspended frames using motor clamps. The front caster wheels (106A,106B) are directly attached to the suspended frames. The rear caster wheels (109A,109B) with in-built suspension are connected to the base frame.
