Abstract: Disclosed is a battery assembly, etc. in which safety is effectively improved by suppressing the propagation of a thermal event. A battery assembly according to one aspect of the present invention comprises: a plurality of battery cells; and a venting unit interposed between adjacent battery cells among the plurality of battery cells and having a venting passage formed therein so that venting gas discharged from the battery cells can be discharged.
