Abstract: A battery module according to the present invention comprises: a battery cell assembly formed by stacking two or more columns of longitudinal unit cells in the thickness direction of battery cells, the longitudinal unit cell being formed by longitudinally arranging, in a line, two or more battery cells having leads formed at both longitudinal ends thereof; a sensing line electrically connected to electrode leads of the battery cells included in the battery cell assembly; and a module case encompassing and accommodating the battery cell assembly, wherein a sensing pin protruding outside the module case is provided at an end portion of the sensing line.
