Battery Module Having Improved Airtightness And Heat Resistance Of Module Case

Abstract: A battery module, according to the present invention, comprises a module case comprising: at least one battery cell; a case body having an inner space in which the battery cell can be accommodated, and an open end formed on the upper side thereof; and a top plate which covers the open upper side of the case body, and is coupled to the top of the case body, wherein the open end of the case body has assembly guide protrusions protruding upward from the surface thereof, the top plate has assembly guide holes formed on the edge thereof and coupled to the assembly guide protrusions in a press-fit manner, and the entire outer circumference of the area in which the open end of the case body and the edge of the top plate come into contact with each other is welded.
