Battery Module With Pressure Sensor For Thermal Runaway Detection

Abstract: A battery module according to the present invention comprises: a cell stack comprising a plurality of battery cells stacked together in one direction; a pressure sensor unit disposed between any one battery cell and any other battery cell opposite thereto and having a plurality of pressure sensing nodes protruding toward the other battery cell; and a surface pressure transfer plate disposed between the pressure sensor unit and the other battery cell and provided to have a flat surface opposite to the plurality of pressure sensing nodes.
