DESC:EARLIEST PRIORITY DATE:
This Application claims priority from a Provisional patent application filed in India having Patent Application No. 202141059904, filed on December 22, 2021, and titled “BATTERY REMOVABLE APPARATUS FOR A TWO-WHEELER ELECTRIC VEHICLE”.
FIELD OF INVENTION
[0001] Embodiments of the present disclosure relates to electrically powered vehicles, and more particularly to a battery removable apparatus for a two-wheeler electric vehicle.
BACKGROUND
[0002] For environmental protection and resources conservation, two-wheeler vehicles are designed with power units actuated by electricity. Generally, any two-wheeler electric vehicle includes a load-bearing frame configured like a polygonal cage. The polygonal cage is designed to house a battery assembly for supplying electricity. The battery assembly is positioned inside the polygonal cage from top open area.
[0003] Conventionally, to remove the battery assembly from such polygonal cage, a vehicle user has to lift the battery assembly to a waist height from the polygonal cage and then displace the battery assembly to a specific place. Such lifting and displacing of the battery assembly is not suitable in the long run as the battery assembly is heavy and the user may get hurt during the displacing movement.
[0004] In another fabrication, to access and replace the battery assembly, a particular part of the two-wheeler vehicle is opened up, such as seats, footrests and the like. This design arrangement would compromise with safety and structural integrity of the two-wheeler every time the battery assembly is replaced.
[0005] Hence, there is a need for a battery removable apparatus affixed to the two-wheeler electric vehicle and therefore address the aforementioned issues.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION
[0006] In accordance with one embodiment of the disclosure, a battery removable apparatus for a two-wheeler electric vehicle is disclosed. The battery removable apparatus includes one or more battery housing compartments. The battery removable apparatus is mounted over a longitudinal base frame of a two-wheeler vehicular chassis.
[0007] The one or more battery housing compartments are of pre-defined shape. Each of the one or more battery housing compartments is enveloped by base wall, top wall and three surrounding walls. Further, each of the one or more battery housing compartments is uncovered from one side.
[0008] Each of the one or more battery housing compartments is positioned adjacent to one another. Each of the one or more battery housing compartments is fabricated to compactly hold a battery assembly. The battery assembly is removed or easily assessed from each of the one or more battery housing compartments through the uncovered side.

The one or more grommet fastener 112 helps in coupling the battery removable apparatus 102 with the one or more posterior attachment tubes 110 and the longitudinal base frame 106.
[0033] FIG. 4 is a top view of the battery removable apparatus affixed to the two-wheeler electric vehicle 400, in accordance with an embodiment of the present disclosure. Each of the one or more battery housing compartments 104 is positioned adjacent to one another for access. Each of the one or more battery housing compartments 104 is fabricated to compactly hold the battery assembly. The back frame 402 supports in compact holding of the one or more battery housing compartments 104, as the back frame 402 attaches to the one or more posterior attachment tubes 110.
[0034] FIG. 5 A- B are exploded views 500, 502 of the battery removable apparatus affixed to the two-wheeler electric vehicle, in accordance with an embodiment of the present disclosure. FIG. 5 A illustrates the detailed view 500 of grommet used to mount and cover one or more battery assemblies from environment with help of side panel. In one embodiment, the grommet is a combination of sheet metal which takes the load and rubber which absorbs shock load. FIG. 5B illustrates detailed view 502 to represent the rubber shape 504 made during entry of each of the one or more battery assemblies. Rubber shape 504 material helps in easily putting each of the one or more battery assemblies in position by sliding.
[0035] FIG. 6 is a detailed perspective view of the battery removable apparatus affixed to the longitudinal base frame of the two-wheeler vehicular chassis 600, in accordance with an embodiment of the present disclosure.
