Battery Type Electrochemical Device Comprising Improved Sealing Means And Method For Manufacturing Same
Abstract: This battery-type electrochemical device comprises a so-called elementary stack (2) formed by at least one elementary cell, an electrical connection support (5) which is at least partially produced from a conductive material and provided in the vicinity of a first front face (12) of the elementary stack, electrical insulation means (53, 54) for mutual insulation of two remote regions (56, 57) of the electrical connection support (5), anode contact means (30) which allow a first lateral face (23) of the elementary stack to be electrically connected to the electrical connection support (5), cathode contact means (40) which allow a second lateral face (24) of the elementary stack opposite the first lateral face to be electrically connected to the electrical connection support (5), an encapsulation system (7) covering the other front face (11) of the elementary stack, the anode contact means, the cathode contact means and at least partially the face (51) of the electrical connection support (5), which face is directed towards the elementary stack, and a mechanical stiffening system (8) which covers the encapsulation system opposite the electrical connection support (5).
