Abstract: Provided in the embodiments of the present application are a beam failure processing method and apparatus, and an information sending method and apparatus. The processing apparatus comprises: a first receiving unit, which is used for receiving configuration information sent by a network device, wherein the configuration information indicates that a terminal device is configured with a transmission/reception point (TRP)-specific beam failure detection (BFD) and/or beam failure recovery (BFR) related to at least two TRPs; and a first processing unit, which, when beam failures are detected on the at least two TRPs or beam failure recovery is triggered and the at least two TRPs are associated with the same cell, or when a beam failure is detected on a specified TRP or beam failure recovery is triggered, is used for triggering BFR of a cell or not triggering the BFR of the cell, or initiating a random access procedure.
