Abstract: The Bearing Extraction Tool is assembled structure of holder, special bolt, leg and dowel which is in combination act as a device for bearing removal from assembly of test piece.
FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention is related to mechanical tool for removal of bearing from
assembly of the test piece.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The bearing is one of the important parts of the mechanical assembly in which
supports the rotational movement of a machine part. Bearing fitted in its matching
part is press fitted with very little axial or radial play. But removal of same bearing
from its matching part becomes very cumbersome for the operator in case of
maintenance. There is no special tool for the removal of bearing from its matching
part. Removal of bearing from its matching part without any specific tool causes the
risk to damage the bearing as well as matching part. The specific object of the
invention is to design a special tool for bearing removal from its matching part of test
piece easily without any damage of matching part as well as bearing.
SUMMARY OF PRESENT INVENTION
New adopted Methodology for removal of bearing from the assembly of
matching part by Bearing Extraction Tool is useful in accordance of following
aspects:
In accordance with one aspect of present invention, the said apparatus
provides uniform removal of bearing from the assembly.
Annexure‐II
In accordance with second aspect of present invention, the said fixture can be
use to hold different diameter & size of mechanical item of assembly of test piece.
In accordance with yet another aspect of present invention, the fixture type
design of said tool provide bearing removal from the required test piece without
overlapping & damaging of neighboring mechanical parts of the assembly.
In accordance with yet another aspect of present invention, it is smaller in size
& weight and handy to transport at different work station.
In accordance with yet another aspect of present invention structure is such
that it hold the core of test piece preciously stable which cause errorless bearing
removal operation without any damage.
In accordance with yet another aspect of present invention, it is safe to
operate i.e. since its design structure avoid touching of sharp corners of the
mechanical parts of the assembly.
In accordance with yet another aspect of present invention, the bearing
removal operation is fully manual, so operator can adjust the applied force during
said operation on the assembly area of test piece.
In accordance with yet another aspect of present invention, the said
apparatus has flexibility to change its holding orientation of assembly as per operator
& job need.
In accordance with yet another aspect of present invention , the handle, for
movement of special bolt in vertical direction w.r.t. the frame of the tool provide
flexibility to hold different width of mechanical part in the assembly.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS
Fig. 1 is an Assembled structure of Bearing Extraction Tool.
Fig. 2 is a detail mechanical design of holder, special bolt, leg & dowel.
DETAILED DESCRIPTION
Referring the figure 1 & 2, the Bearing Extraction Tool is an apparatus to hold
the mechanical part of the assembly for bearing removal form required test piece.
The said apparatus is an assembly of 03 different items, namely base holder 1,
special bolts 2, and leg 3.
The base holder 1 is circular shape thick plate with circular hole at the centre
for insert assembly of special bolt 2. The holder 1 is responsible for guide vertical
motion of special bolt 2. The Special bolt is a rod type of mechanical part & having
collar at one end. There is guiding hole (at y-axis) for the fixing of handle. The
special bolt 2 is main driving part of this tool which creates pressure on the
mechanical part of the assembly for removal of bearing. The leg 3 is a rectangular
rod which is bent at one end. There are two identical legs (left & right) which are
mirror image of each other. There is one small hole at top for assembly of leg by
holder. The slight turn at one end of the leg provide proper griping of the assembly
job from which bearing has to remove.
