Abstract: Provided are a biaxially oriented polypropylene film having excellent element processability and withstand voltage characteristics at high temperature, a metal film-laminated film, and a film capacitor. The present invention includes a biaxially oriented polypropylene film including a polypropylene resin as a main component, in which an arithmetic average roughness SRa on at least one surface is 0.03 jam to 0.10 ^m, a maximum profile valley depth SRv on at least one surface is 0.10 jxm to 0.50 [im, and a profile valley side void volume having a depth of 0.05 um or more existing in a visual field area in a range of 1,252 |am x 939 [ixa on at least one surface measured by non-contact surface shape measurement is 100 |im3 to 10,000 (j,m3.

Specification

1. A biaxially oriented polypropylene film comprising a polypropylene resin as a main component, the biaxially oriented polypropylene film having an arithmetic average roughness SRa on at least one surface of 0.03 \ua. to 0.10 |jm, a maximum profile valley depth SRv on at least one surface of 0.10 jjm to 0.50 um, and a profile valley side void volume having a depth of 0.05 |^m or more existing in a visual field area in a range of 1,252 jjm x 939 j^m on at least one surface measured by non-contact surface shape measurement of 100 [am3 to 10,000 urn3.
2. The biaxially oriented polypropylene film according to claim 1, wherein a maximum profile peak height SRp on at least one surface of the biaxially oriented polypropylene film is 0.30 (jm. to 1.0 jam.
3. The biaxially oriented polypropylene film according to claim 1 or 2, wherein a ratio SRp/SRv of the maximum profile valley depth SRv and maximum profile peak height SRp on at least one surface of the biaxially oriented polypropylene film is 2.0 or more.
4. The biaxially oriented polypropylene film according to any one of claims 1 to 3, wherein a ratio SRv/t of a film thickness t and the maximum profile valley depth SRv on at least one surface of the biaxially oriented polypropylene film is 0.30 or less.
5. The biaxially oriented polypropylene film according to any one of claims 1 to 4, wherein an ash content is 50 ppm or less.

6. The biaxially oriented polypropylene film according to any one of claims 1 to 5, wherein a total content of at least one of inorganic particles and organic particles is 1% by mass or less.
7. The biaxially oriented polypropylene film according to any one of claims 1 to 6, wherein the biaxially oriented polypropylene film is used as a dielectric substance for a capacitor.
8. A metal film-laminated film made by forming a metal film on at least one surface of the biaxially oriented polypropylene film according to any one of claims 1 to 7.
9. A film capacitor made by winding the metal film-laminated film according to claim 8.
