Bicycle (Comfortable and Air Conditioned) Preamble of the Description
Concept and Design for Comfortable Bicycling in Countries with weather conditions like India

(i)Air conditioning of Bicycle :
Air conditioning of cycle has been designed by solar energy on sorption-refrigeration system . zeolite-water vapor combination (Solid Gas Sorption System) /Ammonia -Water combination has been chosen by me. zeolite-water vapor combination have following advantages:
• Heat of vaporization of Water is max and is 10 times higher than any Refrigerant. Besides this water is very cheap and eco friendly.
• Zeolite adsorption isotherms have an extremely nonlinear pressure dependence . In contrast with zeolites, other sorbents have almost linear pressure isotherms.
As the air achieves the temp of 30 °C, we will further push it be the exhaust action by introducing a fan. The nozzle fitted at the outlet will increase the speed of the cooled air, to increase the cooling effect.
The Air conditioning unit will be fixed just below the seat to have max stability and the duct of cool air will be provided upto handle from where the cool air will cool the rider. At the same place a fan is also provided as option which may make cooling more effective.
In case of air conditioning ,the bicycle may have dome shaped overturned fibre

body cover from rider seat to prior to handle and the wind screen will be provided at the end of overturn dome .(as shown in the diagram above)
Both these designs and new concept will help in popularising the Bicycle in the climatic with the countries similar to India.
Material for Mobile stand and Fan -Carban Fibre, composite, recycling.
(ii)The Bicycle may be facilitated with a Mobile set stand and one small
fan (preferably separate which may be connected to the mobile battery and which may be continuously charged when Bicycle is running) on the centre of bicycle handle . The Battery may be charged the virtue of circular motion of Bicycle front wheel/ solar energy. The mobile will be essentially hands free with connectivity from mobile to Rider ear.
Assuming a dome of a cylindrical cross section and the dimensions of the bicycle and man as indicated below,

• Calves: 18.5 inches
• Neck: 18.5 inches
• Thighs: 27 inches
• Chest: 54 inches
• Waist: 30 inches
• Height: 70 inches
With above specifications a dome of the following dimensions will be available.

The lateral surface area is available for trapping solar energy using PV cells. Area = n x 200/2 x 120 cm2 = 3.77 m2 (approx.)

I claim:
In India and other Subcontinent countries , weather during summer and rainy season is deterrent
to paddling cycle and now with the mobile is accepted as necessity for phone calls as well as
songs, provision has been made for comfort (air- conditioning and cooling ) and pleasure of
paddling without using hand to pick up mobile .
Above will boost Bicycling in India which will be helpful in Health of user. Reducing Pollution,
Reducing Expense of ever rising cost of fuel of vehicle.Saving of Foreign
Exchange of India. Reducing Road Congestion . Reducing Parking Problem .
My concept and research on above is original and useful for the society.
