BIOVACTIVE INGREDIANT FROM ZIZIPHUS JUJUBA LINN. FOR IMPROVEMENT IN HUMAN EYESIGHT

A bioactive is separated from plant Ziziphus jujuba h i t pulp and seeds by extraction and
was used as an ingredient for ophthalmic preparation for correction of eyesight in human.
Among the many medicinal uses of Ziziphus jujuba, this is for the first time that the fruit pulp
and seed extract of different concentration has been used directly as ophthalmic use; it was
earlier used for the purpose for curing conjunctivitis and Eyelash enhancement. Bio active
ingredient separated fiom Ziziphus jujuba and its ophthalmic use is unique and for the first time
it has been shown to improve eyesight to the extent of removing of optical lenses.
