"Bitumen/Polymer Composition Having Improved Mechanical Properties Under Cold Conditions"
Abstract: aaaThe invention relates to a bitumen/polymer composition and to the production method thereof. The bitumen/polymer composition comprises: a first bitumen base having an intrinsic stability S greater than 2.5 and/or a peptization rate S greater than 0.60; a second bitumen base having an intrinsic stability S less than or equal to 2.50 and/or a peptization rate S less than or equal to 0.60; an elastomer; and an olefin polymer additive functionalised by at least glycidyl functional groups. The intrinsic stability values S and the peptization rate S are measured according to ASTM standard D7157 12. The bitumen/polymer composition has improved mechanical properties under cold conditions.
